    Lyon

Only 1 wicket in Melbourne (Last of the game) and hasnt got one yet in Sydney (although will probably get 1-2 here at the very end). Do We keep him for Perth/Adelaide or try someone else? To me id try someone else, its not just the fact hes got 0 for, but the Indians are playing him like a...

    Innings without 500.

We have now gone 33 test innings without scoring 500, and only passed 400 five times in those innings. A couple of them dont count as we finished 1/19 and 1/100, but still very poor stats. Our last 500 score was in March 2010 vs NZ. I wonder if any test team has a longer drought scoring 500?

Didnt we just retain the series?

I dont get it. Im hearing people say "So are australia happy to draw the series?" etc, and at the presentation they both held up the trophy. And then on cricinfo they were saying "Will the rain save australia?" But dont we currently hold the series after winning in South Africa in Feb/March...

    Paul Gallen

Not gonna have a go at a guy who tries so hard. But you cant play him for 80 minutes at the intensity origin goes at. Thats both the last two origins where he has been caught out late in the game to cost us the the winning try. Real poor read by him on the inside, you could see that play coming

    big game entertainment

NFL made it pretty easy. All you have to do is sing popular/current songs that everyone knows and it pretty much goes off. For the record the NFL sang where is the love, tonights gonna be a good night and ive had the time of my life. Better than some random band singing there new single...

    Cosgrove

I await 30 people to laugh but if this guy isnt better than at least 3 of our bats then Ill give it away. Hes scored 100 , 86* , 156 , 16 , 50 & 35 in his last six innings. Ignore the fat jokes, we know he has the ability and while hes unorthodox its not a terrible unorthodox like a few of the...

    Australian third test side.

Have a crack. Fill in the blanks. 1. 2. Watson 3. Ponting 4. Clarke 5. Hussey 6. 7. Haddin 8. 9. Harris (Given ponting said he was our best bowler) 10. 11. How much shield cricket is on in the next week? Opening spot. Hughes is playing for his spot. If he fails both digs I dont believe they...

Broad and Katich out of the ashes.

Broads out of the ashes. I dont know if this will affect them that much. They might miss him as a number 8 bat, but to be honest there battings probably alright at the moment. I honestly think there bowlings too reliant on Anderson/Swann (although it is all still lightyears above us), so i...

    Michael Clarke at 4

Watching him try to take the attack on to the bowlers when we were 2/0 pretty much sums him up. Hes more focused on trying to seem so cool, calm and collected and having an image as an attacking cricketer. He had a great ashes series last year and a few good stints at Pakistan and New...

    Why not Cameron White

Why not? Everyones like he doesnt have the technique to play test cricket, but neither did Gilchrist and neither did Andrew Symonds. I think if we give this guy a go he will flourish. He has been close to our best batsman in ONE DAY cricket over the last 12 months or so. And I really believe...

    Australian Squad

Who will make it. Having analysed the train on squad, and adding Roosters/Dragons players I have got it down to 34. The guys in bold I think will definetly be there, which there are 17, which I think leaves 6 remaining spots. Fullback: Billy Slater, Darius Boyd, Josh Dugan Wing: Hayne, Morris...

Is there a more consistant player than Robbie Farah

Not meant to be a Farah bashing, or farah love, or a farah vs ennis thread, but is there a more consistent player in the NRL? Four years running, from 2007-2010 Robbie Farah has polled in the top 5 in the Dally Ms, including i think two 2nd places. Pretty impressive.

    North: Breaking down the stats.

28 innings, 4 scores of 50+, 4 scores of 100+. Thats not bad. What is bad is the rest. In the remaining 20 innings, he has only scored 20 or more 3 times (and two of them were scoes of 20 and 21, the other 38). This means in 19 out of 28 innings he has scored less than 21, and in 13/28 of...

Why arent you suspended for punching

Why arent you suspended for throwing a punch? How can punching someone in the head, not be deemed worse than a headbutt like Jarrod Hayne did last night? Throwing a punch is always going to be more intentional, more dangerous etc - so why is it not deemed as bad?

    we beat parra

i cant help but think back to mid season when parramatta threw everything at us but we just had all the answers and escaped with a victory at parra stadium so i think we beat the likely premiers, does this mean anything for next yr? can we be a premiership threat? we have the wood on the...
