    So for a week at least after the Pacific Championships final we had some positive Press in regards to the International game. Kangaroo Tour, Crowds, TV ratings, Possible 50,000 crowds etc and now whoomph. Back to talking SOO, LA and MR. So rugby league

    There is a fair bit of interest in it at my local club. If I was the NRL, I’d be taking this on board. There IS an appetite for International Rugby League

    Let’s see how the week goes in terms of ticket sales. Does anyone know how it’s tracking now? Both Tongan games have been awesome, so it should sell out. But Sydney and IRL haven’t been mates for years…

    Nobody seems to have an issue with Wednesday @ 8:20pm for a certain game? Maybe it’s got to do with promotion and care factor (thanks to media and the ARLC/NRL rather than time slot.

    The International game is doomed. This should have been played last night at Eden Park with at least, least 40,000.. When are followers of the International game going to get their heads out of this sand and acknowledge that the NRL is managing the International game so it doesn’t surpass...

    This game in no way, shape or form is ‘grabbing’ me like last weeks game against Tonga? Crowd (and yes I know it’s sold out), vibe, time slot and venue. Not to mention the problem of no neutral ref although that is a whole tournament issue..
