    New North American Competition?

Brooklyn, Boston and Atlanta have all left the USARL and will only play in the NARL. Word is that White Plains Wombats will not play this season, and will put what efforts they can into the New York team. Still cannot understand why the NARL would not have reached out to all the USARL and teams...

    New North American Competition?

No team except for Atlanta, Boston and Brooklyn were aware of the NARL until it was announced. The other USARL teams, and the USARL, were purposely excluded. The 3 teams who are playing al had to sign NDA's as part of their contract. And yet, this is still true :

    New North American Competition?

Interesting to see if his visa gets approved for the USA. Even with the USARL, and earlier in the AMNRL, the occasional player who had planned to come play was denied a visa due to prior issues with the law. Having said that, others with similar "mishaps" were approved.

    New North American Competition?

The NARL did not make any contact with the USARL or the Intl Rugby League, and did not submit any application to operate a RL competition. There were no plans, no prospectus, no budget or operations plans submitted for consideration or approval. From what happened in Greece recently, and in the...

    New North American Competition?

I'm not sure what to make of the West Coast teams. All their social media (Twitter and Facebook) appear to be coming from a single, central source, with all the posts being the same. All the accounts were created in March, some as late as March 31. The Websites are all using the same web-design...

    New North American Competition?

Facts Only Post: The Axemen (and other FL teams) were not contacted in any way to be part of the NARL. They only learned of the existence of the NARL (and RLA as the management group) last week. I believe this is the same for all USARL teams who are not joining the NARL. I'm no longer directly...

    Florida pro team

Yes, but it lead to this : And this: http://www.thisisamericanrugby.com/2017/01/us-team-interested-in-joining-uk-rugby.html The Axemen are flattered that their brand is obviously global enough to be the team linked, but some more accurate "reporting" could have been done with a simple call or...

    Florida pro team

This story is inaccurate and misleading. The Axemen have NOT applied to the RFL, have NOT been backed by new investors, and have NOT started any EOI to play in an overseas competition. As flattering as it is to have a brand that is assumed to be ready for this level, financially the Axemen are a...

BREAKING: RLIF awards England 2021 RLWC, Nth America recommended 2025

No, BUT it will not be in the USA. The USA did not bid for the RUWC in the end. So RL will still be the first in North America in 2025. May, or may not, have been considered on the RL bid.

Some research on the RLWC 2021 Bid for the USA/Canada

Over the last 6 weeks I have done a lot of research on all the questions I had myself, when I heard of the 2021 Bid. Here is a video (so you don't have to read it all) that touches on a lot of items I have followed up on to make sure I could truly get behind the bid. Yes they are nothing more...

    Well done rugby league ireland

For Rugby League to grow, there must be a pathway for domestic players at the games highest level, period! The RLIF enforces all nations to meet certain criteria to be members, and this criteria is met by 100's if not 1000's of people, who are often players, working as volunteers. They are the...

Pro Rugby League, Movie Stars, Reality TV & All-star game in Tampa

This link will show you the press release sent today by the Tampa Mayhem and Southeastern Rugby League. The Mayhem are leading the charge to bring this event to Tampa and all four Southern USARL teams are joining to help promote and make the event a milestone. The Toronto Wolfpack are also...

Residency rule extended to 5 years

And again we will see a 14 team tournament where 80% of the players are Aus, NZ or English. Unless NGB's are willing to commit to domestic players, then the locals are always going to be shunned purely for the desire to make games "look good". Demanding 33% of a team being domestic is hardly too...

Residency rule extended to 5 years

This does NOTHING to protect a minimum number of spots for the Domestic Players in any Tier 2 nation.

    The importance of Live Streams

I have often thought of investing in a decent camera and laptop, and traveling to games in the future to Live Stream ones that a lot of people have an interest in. We are working on a USARL North vs. South game in Tampa on Oct 22, and have confirmed the venue has the ability to give us enough...
