    Round 12 v Parra

    Not sure why people are saying Simmons should be dropped.... DWZ had a run in first grade and didn't set the world on fire, yes he needs development but that's what the reserves are for, at least while there's still a very competent first grade winger in Simmons doing his job.

    '10 | SF2 - W3 v L1 | Sat | Roosters 34-12 Panthers | SFS (PEN elim)

    Well on the upside this means Purtell probably won't get 80 mins. So if Purtell is as bad as he's made out to be, not all is lost.

    Guys, what's with all the Purtell hate? I mean, there are better players than him, but seriously?

    '10 | R21 | Fri | Panthers 24-16 Cowboys | CUA

    Reffing decisions hurt the Cowboys? Really? If it wasn;t for that lousy video ref call we would have this wrapped up 30-16. Still not a bad effort though

    Two things we could learn off the world game...

    They need the board indicating subs. Would be great for the fans to keep track

    Embarrassment

    I think it's time to go back to 6. Lewis 7. Sammut We won 4 in a row with Graham/Walsh but after that with those halves we were just kidding ourselves.

    panthers v ponys

    We need Sammut back in the halves ASAP.

    Sammut to 5/8 then where he plays best.

    v the might saints

    That's why I wouldn't play him at fullback. When we went back to back in Flegg a while ago Sammut was in the 6 IIRC. His flair especially in attack is almost crucial considering our last tackle options by Walsh. His kicks were poor, certainly inferior to Sammut's kicking abilities. Last night...

    v the might saints

    The thing is we need Sammut in the halves. His potential is only so limited at fullback and considering our 'last tackle options' (and I'm using that term very loosely) on Friday he could seriously mix it up for us and make us dangerous in attack, rather than the same old silly things. 6...

    09 :: R22 Fri :: Panthers 6 Dragons 25 @ CUA

    On the upside both Tighe and Blair had good games IMO. We need to get Sammut kicking more because tonight proved that having 17 people relying on Walsh isnt working. And did anyone actually see Graham do something tonight? I cant recall.

    09 :: R21 Sat :: Panthers 32-32 Warriors @ CUA

    Sammut needs to take the shot next time... he;s proven he can do it twice last year.

    09 :: R18 Fri :: Rabbitohs 36 Panthers 12 @ ANZ

    1. Graham isn't very good. And the fact that he's young is no excuse. His plays were predictable and his attack ordinary at best, not to mention a liability in defence. 2. Cooper isn't really a forward or a back, as he proved tonight. I'm not sure where that leaves him. 3. Sammut isn't a...
