    Found myself counting down the tackles waiting for the 5th tackle bomb lottery as that was the only way I thought we'd score. That or an intercept. We are staring down the barrel of 2-5, but then have 3 fairly winnable games. If we drop those 3 games then the season will get real ugly... again.

    Penrith were there for the taking today and another two points goes begging. Our attack is as disjointed as ever, relying mainly on rookies to provide any sort of spark. Weren't Benji (and Sheens) going to bring back the 2005 attacking flair?

    AFB is better. So are Haas, Tino, Collins, Tapine, Papalii, Fisher-Harris, Leota to name a few. They have been leading their packs for years now, not just handful of games.

    Stef has had a great start to the year, but he is not in the top 5 props in the game. Needs at least a full season of this form (probably more) to be in that category.

    Tedesco had a heap of HIA's at the Tigers. It nearly seemed part of the opposition plans for a while. He was getting hit much less at the start of his Roosters stint compared to the past few years.

    Latrell is playing terribly at the moment, but we would have had a better couple of years with him in it. We'll never know but maybe Madge would have given him a few hard truths instead of giving him the long leash he gets at Souths. I said it earlier in this thread, but Souths are in turmoil...

    Maybe not, a long way to go, but there isn't 8 teams playing better at this point. We have done a favour to whoever has them next week with Flegler and Farnworth out.

    It wasn't a great performance but we are definitely more resilient than previous years. If we keep it up for 27 rounds we will do OK. Dolphins look good though, especially in attack. They capitalise on every single half break.
