    Central scouting released their mid season rankings yesterday and Walker was ranked #21 for European skaters. If he can maintain that, he should get drafted.

    Im pretty sure they are comparing him to Gretzky in how good he is in comparison to other Australian players, not in general, and in that regard, they are 100% right. Watched him play 3 Spengler cup games so far, he was really good in 2 of them. Hope he can show the scouts some more good things...

    Oilers v Jackets game just about to start and theres a 888 poker ad on TV with Warnie. Probably the only one in Edmonton who knows who he is. haha Carter is out for the Jackets, this is a must win game.

    Burke has really done a great job with them. The Kessel trade is still a bit iffy, even with him leading the league in points, but every other trade hes made has been great.

    Yeah i go to a couple games a year. I never get tickets to the Minnesota games. Rather watch paint dry :lol: Sharks on the other hand are a good team. And i guess its Heatly & Seto v Burns & Havlat (2 trades between the teams in the off season) Thats kind of interesting. Expect a low scoring...

    Yah, im sure there are scouts looking at him, as I said, hes one of the top 94's in that country, hes got a genuine shot. Might come down to how much an NHL team trusts its european scouts. I wish he was playing in the CHL. Maybe next year. It might be good for the NHL in Australia if he gets...

    Nathan Walker First Australian to play professionally in Europe. He's putting up the right kind of stats - one of the top 94's in the Czech Rep. Only problem is his size... Most legit looking Ice Hockey prospect Australia might ever have.

    No.. wings dont normally start like this.. :? It was a nice comeback against the oil. Least Wings got a point. Sucks about Filpulla getting injured though, really sucks. Cant believe Dustin Penner is like 3rd in points in the league, thats insane.

    Wings suck this season :( Well, so far they suck.. but i think they will start clicking soon. Playing Oilers today - so that should help :p Oh and im loveing the leafs struggle. Can u imagine if they come last and boston gets the #1 pick via the kessel trade. Burke would look like an idiot...

    Agreed. Not happy with this home one, but in the last few years we have had much worse away jerseys then that... Every year they screw with em, just to make money ffs. :x Why cant we just have the normal home jerseys and those 2002 away jerseys..
