Melbourne must still be cheating the cap

We're actually going for our 4th next week mate. Wish us luck!

    Crowd Watch 2012

Was the wettest May day in Melbourne since 1995 & the coldest since 2000. Probably a fair indication why the crowd was down. I went tonight & it was insanely cold. One of the coldest nights at the footy I can recall. To think it was just two nights ago I was at Origin in a t-shirt!

    Crowd Watch 2012

When's the last time the first 4 games of the round all pulled more then 20k each? Very solid start...

    Crowd Watch 2012

It's worth noting that all the FTA AFL matches are simulcast on Fox. Not sure if the 444k includes Fox - if not, the real figure would be quite a bit higher.

Melbourne pubs that show live NRL?

The match is live on Gem @ 3.30pm. I imagine most pubs will have Gem, so I'm sure any establishment will be keen to put it on for you if you ask!

Gallop likens Storm fans to terrorists!

It's the 2nd leading article on the HUN main site, lead the 1am news on the radio and talkback on SEN is being flooded with callers. This is just going to get bigger as well. You are a deadset tool Gallop.

    Manly/Melbourne's attitude towards the NRL

Just on that link I posted - It's making big news here. Leading story on the 1am radio news, 3rd article listed on the HUN website and SEN is flooded with callers. Disgraceful antics from our CEO (irrespective of whether Storm fans were in the wrong - the CEO should be bigger and better then...

    Manly/Melbourne's attitude towards the NRL

This is exactly why we have a "frosty" relationship with Gallop... http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/rugby-union/rugby-league-boss-david-gallop-slams-melbourne-fans/story-e6frfgkf-1226135250645 Oh dear.

Rugby crowds will decrease once the hype period of a new team subsides. Also, remember that the Rebels get all their home games on Friday night, the majority before the footy season even commences meaning minimal competition - talk about a free ride! Victory crowd averages weren't huge at AAMI...

Shocking crowd today but the AFL definitely affected it. 104k in the precinct today which is pretty amazing. We had 11k members this season so we pretty much attracted those and a few thousand walk ups. Prelim final should be much bigger but will still depend on the AFL match we're up against...

    They still don't get it

I don't know what to believe - investigations never singled out individual players or coaches, so I'm not about to start playing the blame game unless we know for sure. Innocent until proven guilty. I'm not going to start hating on guys like Slater, Cronk, Smith etc because of a "hunch" that...

    They still don't get it

So you conducted the investigations and audits that confirm this?

    They still don't get it

Oh trust me, it well and truly is. Waldron is absolute vermin filth who almost single-handedly destroyed our club through his dishonest and improper conduct. Gallop has my hatred, not so much for stripping the titles (I agree, it had to be done) but because of pathetic he has been in developing...

    They still don't get it

Be that as it may, we only found out in hindsight that it was the negligence of our CEO that caused it. I didn't cheat, the coach didn't cheat and the players didn't cheat. The club worked as hard as any other premiership side to achieve success that year, and that deserves some credit. Fair...

    They still don't get it

As I said, you can think what you like - doesn't faze me one bit. I was there and saw the victory's so for me, they will always feel like a win. The emotion of the occasion doesn't disappear because the spineless twirp (Gallop) comes out and decides to erase them.

    They still don't get it

Neither the coaches nor the players knew that the club was cheating the cap. Extensive investigations have revealed this. The coaches and players worked exceptionally hard to win the premierships - what is revealed in hindsight does not change the effort that was put in. You're not gaurenteed a...

Is it okay to be bi-codal?

Hey, I'm still here. Hit me with more of the same usual shit... Victorian, AFL sucks, Victoria is the hell-hole of Australia. Got anything else new? God it's gonna sting when all you Sydneysiders watch us hold up another trophy this year. You're all as geniused as each other.
