Raiders want Orford - without the price tag from bullish Bradford

Sorry mate, by bad with the wording. Bradford have agreed to release Orford - this hasn't happened yet. He isn't being paid because he hasn't reported for training. Both sides have agreed this. He has also been talking to other clubs whilst under contract to Bradford - I don't know how that sits...

Raiders want Orford - without the price tag from bullish Bradford

Just for the record, Orford has been granted a release from playing for Bradford. However, Bradford want compensation for the remaining two years of his contract before releasing his registration to play for anybody else. The odious little tw@t Mimis has been in the press again today trying to...

Raiders want Orford - without the price tag from bullish Bradford

Not going to be worse than Orford. Not a popular bloke at the moment. Not because of what he's done, but the way he's gone about it -really low.

Raiders want Orford - without the price tag from bullish Bradford

Thanks mate. Sounds OK but exactly what we don't need.

Raiders want Orford - without the price tag from bullish Bradford

Bradford might be picking up Marc Herbert in his place. Any good?

    England team v kiwis

I too would have picked Crabtree - however, he's not as good making the hard yards and taking it up carry after carry. I assume that's why, but I don't agree with it.

Morley ruled out of Four Nations

England won't really miss Morley the player, although we will miss the leader and the reputation that he has in the Southern Hemisphere. There are better props than Morley not on the trip.

Souths Look To Bring 3 Burgess Boys Over

Luke Burgess is very average. He's a big unit - bigger than Sam - but doesn't run his weight. The twins are huge and very promising. One of them (and I can never remember which - George, I think) looks like he'll be the best of the lot. All except Sam are definitely props, though.

    England 4 nations squad

I think that Widdop can kick goals. Westwood can too, but I'm not sure that he should be on the pitch. And Lynch ahead of all of them.

    Gareth Ellis

Of course you would - they're better players. You could add James Graham, Jamie Peacock and probably still Adrian Morley to that list. And Gareth Hock when he's back. In fact, see the thread on the English backs for more reference.

    England train-on squad

    And no Gareth Widdop.

    Costigan can't play for PNG

The simple answer is for every player, on signing their first pro contract, to declare which country they want to play for. And then no changing - or least a five year qualification period. It's then up to the Aussies if they want to allow 'foreigners' to play Origin and improve the quality of...

    Costigan can't play for PNG

It is linked, as you showed. The point is, that it should only be a one way link. Homer was saying (I think) that it shouldn't matter to the International game what the rules of Origin are and it is up to Origin, independent of the International game, whether it sees itself as a test trial care...

If England had backs they would be dangerous

Ben Jones-Bishop has been named in the squad today and he has the chance to be world class. I'd love to see him at full-back in the 4N. He would give Slater a real run for his money. I've see calls for Karl Pryce and even Kevin Penney. They both look good on the highlight real, but for every...

    Noble to coach Souths?

Noble has one of the best Plan A's in the business, but Plan B isn't his strong point.

    So is Karmichael Hunt.

    Rumoured Signings - 2010

I can't. But I could name twenty better English props, including three at Bailey's club.

Glenn Morrison has been linked with a return home.

Super League 2009 Ins and Outs

I think that you can safely add Paul Cooke to the outs at HKR.
