    The big issue for us will be China's economy. If the US, UK and some European economies go into recession, demand for Chinese exports will plummet. China's economy may slow, reducing demand for our resources.

    Day/twilight GF - success?

    I found the that twilight period was quite noticeable in the first half, but by the second half the lights had taken over and it was fine. Traveling back to the Central Coast was much better this year than last year, due to the earlier timeslot.

Regarding Origin, as someone posted elsewhere, Orford just became the first Dally M medalist to go on to win a grandfinal. And in record breaking style...

    Manly should be well-represented, but clearly Bellamy has a vindictive streak. Snake got almost no match time in game 3 last year despite being superb in defense against Inglis in game 2. Give Hasler the nod in '09!
