After the Storm match the Fox crew pulled Roger aside and asked him where he found the extra gear. His response was that he was trying a bit too hard given it's his last season and was overplaying his hand. He reverted back to basics & back to his own game, and with the move to centre suddenly...

The 2023 robbery was all I needed to write off the Dally Ms as completely cooked.

TT > CNK but that won't happen so hopefully CNK finds his best form again. Niukore's days feel like they're done here. Pompey even at his best doesn't convince me he walks into this team. Both wings/centres seem to be really clicking.

    3. Ford - turned in a Steve Price type night which is ridiculous. He's a "good" prop when he keeps the mistakes down, but yesterday was quite elite. 2. Boyd - starting to remind me of Twilight Johnson in '23, steering our line and controlling field position easily 1. Leiataua - far better than...

    Gameday - Warriors v Titans

Solid win, the Titans were determined all night. Couple of quite lazy covering tackles at the end, still not convinced that CNK should be keeping TT out

    Gameday - Warriors v Titans

There’s clearly a stiff breeze out there impacting conversions, not like Campbell to shank it that hard

    That was rubbish from Charnze

Solid first half, glad there wasn’t a fade because it looked like one was coming for a moment

Damn AKP looks the goods, feels great to have wingers with genuine wheels

Tits aren’t going to give us an easy ride today, probably expected

Capewell with a stupid move - set restart

Don’t feel that great about dropping TT, but we’ve started sharp. Horrible kick!

I'll agree Niukore brings genuine threat... on paper, we just don't seem to see enough of it. He'll justify his size only on occasion and then suddenly he falling off tackles and compounding it with lazy penalties. Maybe plodder wasn't the right word but it's always felt little value for money.

Comparing TT to peak CNK - yes it's a pretty worthy debate and I'd back CNK. CNK looks very far below his peak though, I'd want to see a drastic turnaround in the reggies before rushing CNK back because he could barely make a tackle against the Sharks.

    Gameday - Warriors v Storm

I don't see Bellamy's style working here personally - one of Webby's strengths is his strong connection with the boys and I don't the ol Bellyache whipcrack being as effective. Bit of a choosing begger maybe, I'd have a different tune if we were sitting under someone else other than Webby or...

Sorry a double round - I thought I'd posted last week but I guess the long weekends and school holidays are doing my head in (grin). Round 5: NRL - Cronulla Sharks 36 - New Zealand Warriors 22 (WWWLL) NSWRL - Newtown Jets 24 - New Zealand Warriors 26 (LWLWW) Jersey Flegg - Cronulla Sharks 36...

    3-2-1 v Storm

Tuaupiki's two bad moments were comically bad, but it's a pretty rough assessment to call the rest pretty standard. It shouldn't be underestimated how readily he defused early dangerous kicks, found little gaps at speed, and swept around the back for covering tackles. He was under pressure all...
