OT: Dogs CEO ordered cheerleaders to cover up.

I love the cheerleaders, always have, ever since I can remember going to the footy as a young boy. It is great having healthy, fit, pretty girls dancing and supporting your team with you. I love it. Long may it continue.

Eels Appoint Brad Arthur as Head Coach (Part Deux)

What a breath of fresh air The long wait is finally over, we have found our man!

OT: Proof Stuart is untouchable in Telecrap

Hard to argue with that article Perhaps a touch harsh, but then again maybe just brutally honest

    The 2013 World Cup Thread

We won the game through the backs essentially even though their forwards probably pipped ours. We also got the 50/50 calls In the end we won through some individual play - slater, Inglis. England seemed to have a better interplay between their players The Aussie 'professionalism' got them over...

    The 2013 World Cup Thread

I generally agree with your thoughts re: Mossop, but what I did like about him was the fact that he seemed to just fit in with the team around him. I think he will be a good team man. When watching him he reminded me a little bit of Ian Hindmarsh. If he turns out to be anything like hm I will...

Eels Appoint Brad Arthur as Head Coach

Brad Arthur and Daniel Anderson - BA and DA - kind of go together. I was wanting JT but somehow this seems better now - glad that Arthur got the job - seems like a very solid character - exactly what is needed.

    Ray Price role at cub?

Not sure if anyone can recall but in 2009 when we were only a loss or two from last Price was asked what was needed for the team to improve, he said simply for each player to head out onto the field totally trusting in the bloke beside him. Shortly after that we beat Newcastle at Newcastle and...

Eels Appoint Brad Arthur as Head Coach

To me JT seems a more sophisticated coach whereas Arthur more old school Both equally good Kind of a pity they couldn't work together

Eels Appoint Brad Arthur as Head Coach

The majority of posters here also want JT according to the poll Personally I am very pleased about the choice of JT Now we just need Sharp to walk and hopefully a bit of sanity can take hold

Eels Appoint Brad Arthur as Head Coach

When the new CEO was hired he said it was his job to hire a coach. Where is he now? Sharp is basically saying do it my way or else. Not the right approach. Why can't parra just display some professionalism for a change? I am quite concerned about Sharp's attitude.

Parra "worst training facilities in the NRL"

When Parra were at their peak during the Gibson years their training facilities were absolutely second rate. They used to have their team meetings on an old government bus. The training facilities do not make or break a team, it is a very secondary issue.

Former league boss John Quayle says Parramatta factions must put egos aside

Looks like the problem at Parra is that it is too democratic. Too many voices getting to have a say. One overriding voice might be the answer. I feel there is now some light at the end of the dark and dreary tunnel. Quayle is a good man. We have some good people on our side.

    Ricky Stuart

I agree. Just love Ricky's passion and his language. So refreshing. As a fan I love it when I see a coach as busted up as the fans. That was the frustrating thing under Kearney. You just never felt that it meant as much to him as it did to the fans. At least with Ricky you know that we...

    Team V panthers trial

I actually like the look of our team. It all comes down to the combinations and the team. How all the individuals gel as a team. I am truly amazed at the negativity on this thread. Support your team and lighthen up, the footy season is upon us...

Former Manly Sea Eagle junior Jamil Hopoate convicted for drink-driving

The Sydney Swans have produced an excellent culture at their club by simply having a "No d**kheads policy" I am glad the Eels are doing the same. It will take time and it may ruffle a few feathers but you have to set a standard.

    You know what sh*ts me?

Life isn't always 'fair'. Some people just bounce through life without giving a sh*t and just land on their feet - that is Inu. He is good to watch though. Whenever Inu is in a competitive team he fires up. When it is all too hard he just cruises - very different philosophy to Hindy.

    Nathan Hindmarsh - "Old School"

Well Mick did get the more impressive stand named after him. What I love about Cronin and Price is their careers spanned the 76 and 77 grand finals as well as the 80s. And they both retired grand final winners - indeed the last Parra premiership.....both legends..
