    What shits you..?

The ceiling fan is good at keeping the mozzies away but sometimes, it's just not cool enough to warrant its use. Another thing that annoys me is people writing messages in all capital letters in forum postsor emails. One question I have to ask those who do: Do we write in all capitalson...

    What shits you..?

Mozzies that buzz around your ears at night time. When you turn the light on to try to kill the bastards, they disappear. When you turn it off again, they come back and the cycle of annoyance continues. Guaranteed to get a lack of sleep because of this.

Parra / Fitzgerald..Why the "alliegance" with the Gold Coast!

I'll think you find that Parramatta has formed an association with the Tweed Heads Seagulls, not the Gold Coast Seagulls (there's no such entity).

    Brothers/Valleys

It was a good effort from Brothers-Valleys against a much stronger opponent. It would have been interesting to see how they would have gone if they had a Qld Cup strong side. Thanks to the QRL and their bulls*-t, we won't be seeing them compete this year. I think they'll do good in A Grade...

these union posts are boring me

Some interesting thoughts here. Whilst schoolboy Rugby may attract decent crowds and sponsors, Brisbane Club Rugby doesn't and that's the main problem with Union. What happens to those players aren't good enough to play for the Reds or when the Super 12 competition is over? They get to go...

You will never be an Old Man River.......

Hunters & Collectors: Holy Grail....you are not a bloke if you don't know or don't like this rock epic. It's a pub anthem, a beer anthem, that's perfect for the bbq sing-a-longs after a few ales. Powerful music combined with lyrics that we can all understand and learn off by heart make this...

Union set to overtake league in Queensland

Aussie Rules has been in Qld since about the 1880's, a few years before League even started. Not sure when League started in Melbourne though.

Union set to overtake league in Queensland

I'm not surprised to see Union and AFL continue to grow in Qld given the way that Rugby League is currently being run at the moment. The admistrators of the game really need to have a hard look at themselves. And I'm not talking about the NRL either!!!

Ted Turner pulls plug on Goodwill Games

Willow, Brisbane did not host the 1988 Commonwealth games.I think Auckland did (or somewhere in Kiwiland).

Wouldn't know, Gav as I don't live in Sydney. We have a few Westfield shopping complexes in Brisbane too.

Union / League and private schools

I know of at least one private school student who played for the Junior Kangaroos this year: Michael Russo from Nudgee College (a well known Rah Rah school in Brisbane).

    i feel a win coming

Stumps Day 4 Aus 2/69 Hayden 31no M.Waugh 8no Langer Duck Ponting 26 371 runs for Australia to win the match. Kiwis, however, need 8 wickets to pull off a stunning series win. It's gonna to be interesting to see how the Aussies worm their way out of this precarious position tomorrow.

    Norfs New Logo

Norfs have decided to drop the smile off their Devil logo and give it a more sinister appearance. For those who didn't read the Sunday Mail, here's what it looks like:

    134 - nil

Just for the record, Altona beat Dandenong 212-0 (38 tries & 30 goals) in a League match played in Melbourne in 1997. At the time is was a record score in Australia and may still be.
