    Next year

Does anyone else have concerns on our recruitment for next year, we have so far lost King, Asotasi, Crocker, Peats, Hunt, Lima(also buckett but don't think Souths have announced) While only a couple of regular first graders from last year there is loads if experience. We have only picked up...

Max- origin may have destroyed him

Don't want to put the boots in, but since his origin debut, max has been terrible, lost all confidence , hasn't been able to find the line and his reading of defence has been below Reggie's standard. Last week against manly he looked like a lost player not a seasoned first grader. If this...

Pearce never to be blue again

Was that the worst performance from a number 7 in origin history. Put so much pressure on farah. Did Pearce force a goal line drop out all series, tried tonight but had an air swing. Bring on Reynolds next year'

    Hunt v Keary

What do people think, should we go with Hunt or Keary on bench, I think Hunt covers more positions and shows a bit of X factor in attack. Bench of Lima , Hunt, Lowe and Burgess (any of the three ) so many options there and everything covered.

    A problem

Don't want to be too critical after some good wins but being out there on Monday noticed how many Offloads the sharks got, not just a forward hitting the line but when we had 2 or 3 defenders on them . There was no desperation to put the player down. Realize it was played at a high pace but we...

    Souths to sign bronco

Stay tuned for the announcement of signing of big name Bronco for next year.

    Front row problem

With the loss of Roy (season) , Luke B (another 6 weeks) , Sam B (6 weeks) and the week to week monitoring of Scott Geddes with his bi-cep injury we could be in trouble if Scott gets injured. I am interested if we are finally going to give some young guys a go Neecrom, George B at some stage...

    What our team should be

Not overly worried about start, think the team coming together is close, remember we have a new inexpeienced half critical to to the team. My thought on what our team should be this week. 1. Merritt 2. McQueen 3. King 4. Farrell 5. Roberts 6. Inglis - has to be closer to play and not outside...

    Scott Geddes, anyone hear

I heard on the radio yesterday (2ky) that Scott Geddes had torn his pectoral on Saturday night and is out for the season, did'nt hear anymore. Hope it is wrong, he has had such bad luck with injuries and with Baz gone someone like Geddes is really needed amongst our big name forwards.

Dont want to look too far ahead ...but

I think the last game against the Knights might determine the final spot in the 8, for my thinking Warriors and Tigers will secure two of the remaining 3 spots with us and the Knights battling it out for the last spot, the Knights have a few tough weeks ahead, Warriors away, Broncos at home and...

    Lang decision making

Can anyone shed light on Langs decision to start Corrigan in the second row, fair dinkum we have Peats, Clarke, Burgess, Pettybourne on the bench. While he was on we let in 20 unanswered points and as soon as replacements made our game turned around. If he really wants to run with an option for...

lang has to go this weeks team

http://www.rabbitohs.com.au/News/Match-Previews--Reports/Rabbitohs-Teams-for-Round-21-2011-Against-Dragons.html What a disgrace, the same team picked for this weekend, has'nt Lang been watchin this team play, i know we have injuries but seriously how many clubs would put up with sutton at 5/8...

    More games in perth

Management has agreed to three more years playing a game in Perth with the possibility of more than one game, I hope this is reflected in membership fees. I suggest they look after their 20,000 members or numbers could drop dramatically given the way management have acted over the past couple...

    sutton must go

I hate to say it but sutto must go from 5/8, the only problem is who goes there any suggestions. last year he started the year and was an origin hopeful and someone to build a team around and now he just isnt up to it.might be best to move him into the pigs as a ball playing forward where he has...

    tickets for friday night

Have'nt the Tigers in the past done a deal for Souths members for tickets to the Heritage Round, or have they backed out this year worried they come across another game like last year at the SCG

    Wesser must go now

It was another dissapointing loss on the weekend although we had 9 players out, the loss came down to some extremely poor reads in defence from Wesser, how often this year have we seen Merritt scrambling around at the back chasing kicks because Wesser is no where to be seen. His on line...

    Sutton dissapointing

Our forwards played well enough last night for our backs to put that game away, in my opinion Sutton cost us a win he was terrible, the conditions should have suited him perfectly yet he did nothing. Sandow tried his heart out in both attack and defence behind our forward pack that dominated...

    Is Sutton injured

In every game Souths have won this year Sutton has kicked more than Sandow throughout the game, this was no more relevant on Saturday night, Sutto put up one towering bomb to Manly which they dropped in the in goal area, they are known to be sus under the high ball yet Souths perisited in...

    souths in origin

After NSW abysmal effort last night, Sutton, Champion and Merritt have the opportunity to step up to the mark over the next two weeks against quality opposition and force there way into Origin 3 and perhaps be players for the long term. NSW backline defence was absolutely terribl and Qld...

    Ref's turn blind eye

How good was it to see the refs get on with play while Thurston squirmed on the ground looking for a penalty. Luke put a couple of great shots on Thurston that in any other game would have been a penalty for sure. Looks like Thurston is free game now!!!!! Karma for the bigmouth.
