    Thank Christ for Woolford!

The fact of the matter is, we have a chance to actually win a title since our glory days but McCrone is not ready, Joey or No Joey training is not going to change that, when it comes to the crunch McCrone will be found out. Orford...3 weeks ago i agreed and stated that this would not be a good...

    It's Kimmorley or McCrone

We screwed up and now we are left with a 3rd string 7. Look at Finch and Carney....my goodnes, have a word. McCrone is McNoob...played ok in the last two games, what happened to the rest of the season.... I agree with the comment about having a great pack, good 3qtrs and a talented FB, we have...

    Spread of League in England

Ah leave the South alone, they dont have the history of the game that the North does. I coached in Australia before coming over here, coached in South Wales and now London, there is some quality talent around..seriously (which i keep losing to Quins grrr). What England produce best is...

    Sh*t.

Not exactly the best of banking....the real problem has been Canberra's ability to control and keep the previous two halves before McCrone...who we never would of heard of if we had managed to keep either Finch or Carney...instead we are settling. Canberra know it, hence they are looking around...

Brett White signed for 3 years

I think Brett White will do alright, change of scene for the bloke will do him good, plus he should be able to handle the temp at night in Canberra. Which by the way guys..i keep reading why arent we pouching players, why arent we being active in getting stars in...people dont like Canberra...

    Spread of League in England

Yeah i know about it, but what i said is true they dont have the finances to do it anymore, also there is a big push for local players (which there should be anyway). I know a couple players who claim to get 200+/week from them. Which im sure compared to up North, whcih i havent tried yet...

    Terrell Owens Signs for Bengals!

I think its a solid signing for the Bengals, Chad, TO and Bryant...get three. If anything it will free up more space for Benson and Bryant. TO may be old, but still got good hands, good reading and size. I dont a massive season out of him, but that isnt whats needed from him either...the odd...

Dallas Johnson set to return to NRL with Cowboys

Burgess is one the best exports to Australia...he has made a genuine impact and helped his team win matches. Other guys that play e.g Flanagan...is not making that kind of impact. Sure he isnt ever going to make the list, if we were to do one, but to get that kind of label you have to make a...

Dallas Johnson set to return to NRL with Cowboys

Fair comment. We need to break the mould and get some backs in the NRL. How can you say Morley was "only just" an international!? Burgess has only been there five minutes and you have him down as one of our best ever imports to Australia! Ever heard of Ellery Hanley or Garry Schofield...

    League in London

Yes sorry that was a typo, I meant to say 5-6 different players in it each week, not 5-6 actual players per week. They lack continuity in their roster week by week. They do get some good players come over and yeah i agree the club has done well. They had to go up...they started in Merit table...

    League in London

The Hammersmith hillhoists put out a team with 5-6 players in it each week, but they are doing well. The aussie 'well' will dry up more each year as the pound goes further south, then they will be in trouble as there are a couple established sides over there already and they wont get any english...

Dallas Johnson set to return to NRL with Cowboys

Flanagan spent more than half his time either injured or coming off the bench. Jordan Tansey? Gosh i had to look him up to see who he ws, he didnt really start many games and we let him go home? Dp, dont get me wrong i know there are some good players here in the UK, im here coaching here...

Anyone else keen on playing League in London next season? :D

Raiders into the race for Kimmorley...

Seriously..McCrone is not the halfback we need. Sign Noddy for the one year.... Let Finch go to SL and then he will do what they all do now...'I want to come home' 'I'll sign for less money' Bring back Finch.

    League in London

Well i know for a fact that the National Youth comp is switching to the Summer. Where we normally loose a couple of our U18's to Hemel in the off-season, maybe we may try and compete ourselves when they switch. Costly though to keep travelling up North.

Dallas Johnson set to return to NRL with Cowboys

I think (i havent check whilst typing this), but i believe the NRL salary Cap is now bigger than Super League....but it still doesnt mean you get to keep everyone, as everyone who has a good game wants to get paid. Dallas J would be a solid guy for cowboys, he gets the defence done..allowing...

Brett White signed for 3 years

Guys you gotta realise, White isnt going to have pressure on him. We got a great pack and he will compliment it. Lahrs, Shillo, Harrison shoulder our main load. I say give White a chance, he could help.

    Spread of League in England

I went for an interview to be on the Skolars coaching staff. I didnt get it and maybe in a way im happy i didnt. The club is in serious trouble, they use to bring in and play aussies but now cant afford them, but in return they are now developing more home grown talent. Funny story, i sat down...

Raiders into the race for Kimmorley...

    Spread of League in England

Yes i agree on the Scorpions...i know a few of them too after coaching the Steelers for a season. It can work, but Union is such a way fo life. I know the RFL guys who have been working over there and they say they have never been in a tougher situation trying to grow League. A second team is...
