    2024 Crowd Watch

2/3 Anzac day games sold out now. Melbourne is doing alot better than the stadium map would suggest. Most categories have begun to have bays turning to limited availability (less than 10 seats together). The way they're selling the bays, once they get to less than 10 seats together, you're...

    18th club, whose next?

If you haven't listened already there's a good podcast with Hunter Fujak, author of "Code Wars". It's very critical, so prepare yourself. It's from April 2021, so also keep that in mind, it doesn't cover a lot of the NRL's current growth. But still interesting. He goes into these search trends...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

You would hope Canberra, but knowing Barr he will stall until Canberra gets an AFL team and try to build a multipurpose stadium. The Raiders, NRL, FFA, Brumbies need to come out strongly against this and say they will refuse to play at the ground. It will set all their clubs back 30 years. Last...

    2024 Crowd Watch

The way I see it, the Tigers realistically have 3 options longterm: * (12 games) Campbelltown Redevlopment - State government funding relying on all games moved there. Helped by Macarthur FC in the Aleague. * (11/12 games) Accor Stadium Redevelopment - State Government funding. With a 40k club...

    2024 Crowd Watch

If they can get Galvin and Bula onto long term deals and blood another young hooker. They will be well on the way to make up for the Tedesco, Moses, Papenhuyzen, Addo-Carr era that they missed out on. Exciting times for the Tigs over the next 5 years if they do it right. Will be a great time to...

    2024 Crowd Watch

It's a shame we probably missed out on 25-30k attendance today. But the folks who turned up deserve a medal. Proper fans.

    2024 Crowd Watch

The sleeping giant is starting to wake. We now also have the West Tigers with an exciting young competitive side. Their massive fanbase in the mix now as well. Round 9 against the Dogs could be huge if they can both string some wins together.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Is showing as limited availability and when you actually go to purchase one it saids not enough tickets available. Might just be them going around the ground releasing the last parts of the stadium that are unsold, as its down to single seats everywhere else. Edit: They probably released a few...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Yep I think this ones a smokey for a big crowd. Wahs haven't played in Sydney (outside of the final against Penrith that sold out in 5 minutes) since round 19 last year against Parra at the beginning of their run. That game had 22k and I remember them being a good portion of the crowd and loud.

    18th club, whose next?

I'm assuming this is in relation to an increase in homeless people? Because how else would you pick out 'dole bludgers'? The employment statistic isn't just some guy walking down the street taking a survey. It's based off all the data the government has on each of us - TFN etc. It's a fair bit...

    18th club, whose next?

Was gonna post this. Unemployment rate goal is generally between 3-5%. Going too low creates inflation. RBA has even been trying to increase unemployment over the past year.

I blame the Storm, they brought nothing. This is the only bay at Commbank that isn't single seats only. Something will have to go very wrong for us not to reach it.

    2024 Crowd Watch

You never know they might be the Hobart Sharks playing out of the AFL's new $1 trillion stadium. Could work out alright for you. I'm not saying it will or should happen at all. But 15 years is a long time and with lots of different adminstrations with different ideas. What I said applies to all...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Any idea if the delay in the Leagues Club is something the Sharks are getting compensated for? Would be costing them millions per year in lost revenue - including stadium capacity as well. Big if, but if stadium capacity goes back up to 17k after everythings opened up, They're not that far away...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Extremely dodgy mockup of what I mean (Except in the second photo North and South also done + maybe some corporates)

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Not sure about the engineering, cost or popularity, but you could have the Western Stand wrapped around to the North and South (similar to the plan but a little higher capacity than 2,818). A full length Western Stand would surely be around 8k and north and south around 8k as well. Instead of...
