The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Apart from requests to head office when the fixture is getting organised, do the clubs actually have any actual say in when their games are scheduled?

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Wasted space is the most likely thinking architecturally. Concourse would probably eliminate roughly 5-6 rows of $$seats$$, which around a whole ground could hit the capacity by 1-2K. That space can easily be utilised underneath the stand instead of the face. If you make the argument of...

Quoting myself again for clarity....... 😎 Just got an email back from Marvel Stadium Management: I hope this helps for anyone intending on traveling down for the games.

vs Penrith June 30 vs Parramatta July 28 "Venue map for illustrative purposes only" On sale according to the Ticketmaster site, on those two links above. Still looks normal on the maps for each.

Speaking to stadium staff, apparently the Marvel Stadium stands WILL be moving in for the Storm games in July. Hoping to get in to see that process happening.

Round 18 vs Penrith & Round 22 vs Parramatta will be at Docklands/Marvel Storm at Marvel Stadium on sale now! From the look of the ticketing map, it won't be reconfigured. I don't think Docklands have done this for awhile now. If I find anything about that changing I'll plonk it in here.

$3 billion? For Perth/Optus I assume you mean. Would you possibly have a link for that to clarify? Most things I've read have it finalised at $1.8B

This sort of thing gets shifted all the time for all sorts of projects, major and minor. Can't see why it isn't just written into the costs.

Thanks. Wrong blue line for me. Oops.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Splitting hairs you could say 'next to' rather than 'over' the blue line/pipe (allowing for fudging in the overlay). And I'd assume the foundations required for that shelter on the end would be far less than a more significant future grandstand.

For what it's worth, here a quick-and-nasty overlay of the two most recent BlueBet images in the conversation. Hope it helps.

Western Melbourne - NRL Expansion (2nd Victorian Team)

Honest answer, no. I had to ask. <EDIT> But in the north of Melbourne, Broadmeadows, where I asked on the day, there were flags and parties everywhere. Someone here mentioned earlier about all the talk of 'Western' Melbourne missing the expansion to the north and he was right. I think there...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

For what it's worth, the AFL weren't the owners of Docklands when the development of AAMI was signed. It was a private consortium that had the agreement with the Vic State Govt so they wouldn't lose events to a competing stadium..

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Technically the release says 'timber structured' as opposed to a 'wooden roof' in whole, which to me indicates the framing/supports. Still odd though......

Maybe if you sat instead of stood, they'd be better seats. But if they're that hard to stand, I understand why you stand by not standing for them....... by not sitting.......

    Peter V'landys - New NRL/ARLC Chairman

Not sure if this has been replied to yet as I'm still catching up, but there's no draw/replay in any of the finals anymore, so the MCG would be available.

The 1/4 and 3/4 time breaks are six minutes, not eight.
