    It's been that way for a while, I have vague memories of a couple of penalties where the players just stood over them with their hands in the air, if they go in to complete the "tackle" it's usually let go..Probably hasn't resulted in a penalty more than a handful of times in the last decade...

    In the second half when NSW made one of their few breaks there was a pass at least 5m forward that was let go by the refs, too bad they kicked it out on the full 5 seconds later.

    D.C.E - origin myth

    He's had 6 Origin games and never really stamped his mark on any of them, 11 games for Australia where he was also unimpressive. He doesn't lift to compete at rep level so needed to be moved on. Most of the jabs at NSW for no loyalty came from dumping players after 1-2 dud games, DCE had 6.

    DCE will likely get the starting spot, which worries me a little. He's been OK when we're at full strength, but when he does come on, Thurston/Cronk/Smith all stay on the field..He has very little responsibility and can play how he wants. Last year while Cronk was out he looked completely...

    He knocked it on, then picked it back up, had Blair picked it up off the ground rather than take it from his hands, sure, he'd be entitled to make the tackle. Play ends there.

    Broncos had a terrible first half, seemed they just couldn't hold onto the damn ball, I think Hodges dropped it 3-4 times in the first 20. Refs were pretty bad and was almost about to blow up from all the forward passes the Storm were getting away with, then they ignore one of the worst forward...

    I would assume it means we're tied 12th and 11th for those stats..so there'd be 5/4 teams with the same position as us.

    We will not make the 8 if we don't get a proper half instead of Hoffman/Hodges/Barba..If Hunt was Cronk/DCE/Thurston, then maybe we could..But he's nowhere near that and we'll continue to suffer because Hook is an idiot.

    Absolutely, it was only a season game, it's not like they were screwed over during the finals by a 7th tackle try or refs missing a knock-on in consecutive years.
