    2024 R3 Fri - Sydney v South Sydney @ Allianz

Very wary of this game. I think we are the far better team this season but souths are getting smashed pillar to post in the media complete with suggestions of honesty sessions. Those types of weeks often lead to a siege mentality and an unexpected victory. At the same time though I think for...

    Latrell is not a fullback

They haven't named the team yet but the biggest head scratcher for me is not putting Wighton in the halves. Given Cody's lack of form, he is surely the best half at the club by a country mile? Dropping Ilias in favour of Wighton is at least logical and doesn't make him look as much a scapegoat...

    2024 R3 Thu - Penrith v Brisbane @ BlueBet

Way better than you think Runners up in the NRL era are actually leading 13-12 in GF rematches Think Penrith wins this though.

    2024 R3 Sat - Canterbury v Gold Coast @ Belmore

One of the hardest games to pick in recent memory. Titans were putrid in round 1. Dogs suck but seems like they are least trying so them by 4

    2024 R3 Sat - Wests Tigers v Cronulla @ Leichhardt

Every team that was shit in round 1 was better in round 2 even if they didn't win. Expecting better from tigers but sharks will grind it out.

    Latrell is not a fullback

Having the opinion that Latrell is a better centre than fullback is a valid one however I would suggest he is the best fullback option they have and by some margin. So yes, moving him to centre would greatly strengthen that position but it would also weaken a far more important position IMO.

    2024 R3 Fri - Sydney v South Sydney @ Allianz

Yeah I do get it but if they can get 35k at $90 a pop on a regular basis made up of mostly adults then all power to them. There will be plenty of time for families to get good deals at roosters home games with Sunday arvo fixtures against warriors, cowboys, dragons and raiders to come.

    Latrell is not a fullback

I'm not normally a latrell basher and I certainly don't believe he is to blame for their current form. His interview was truly bizarre though. I actually would prefer our sports stars were a bit more honest like in the states but that is not the culture. The most baffling part is he knew he...

    2024 Rabbitohs Round 3 - Vs Roosters

Yeah surely Wighton is the best half your club has at the moment full stop. I expect to see him there before too long.

    2024 R3 Fri - Sydney v South Sydney @ Allianz

I get what you're saying but for better or worse roosters/souths is not a family event anymore. Friday nights seem to be the order of the day and they are aiming this fixture at adults selling it as a premium event. If they keep getting 35k plus then that will continue.

    Latrell is not a fullback

To be fair to him, he is treated that way. His bizarre post match interview isn't getting sanctioned. It is low range but it's not as if his mouth slipped. Last week PVL also came out and said that players are not allowed to publicly discuss ongoing judiciary cases and it is punishable by fine...

    Manly 3 2 1s

As I said in thread on main board, don't think this is the worst loss in history. The obvious issue was possession or lack thereof due to errors and penalties conceded and manly also brought a higher intensity than we did. The obvious positive was the goal line defence which was elite and did...

    2024 R3 Fri - Sydney v South Sydney @ Allianz

Interesting to see what Souths bring to this. They have every reason to come out firing but things don't seem quite right there at the moment.

    2024 R2 Sun - Manly 21-14 Sydney @ 4 Pines

Errors aren't just about completed sets It was 19-13 errors.

    2024 R2 Sun - Manly 21-14 Sydney @ 4 Pines

I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here? You're stat is wrong. It is what NRL app says but errors were 19-13 and manly had more sets (59:41 possession ratio) so no idea how they get that figure. Penalties inclusive of restarts was 13-6.

    2024 R2 Sun - Manly 21-14 Sydney @ 4 Pines

As I said previous post, today was particularly bad. Last week was way better Start of the 2nd half was ultimately the issue. Get in a grind there and they probably win but they held in well defensively.
