Panthers officially announce Griffin as coach

Griffin's 2013 season was destined for doom by persisting with a spine of Hoffman, Prince, and Wallace, with Hunt stuck on the bench for most of the season. Prince mind you played a season longer than he should have and was only there for the pay check.

    2016 Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos Discussion

One of the key strengths in Brisbane's colour scheme was that by inverting the design to a predominantly gold with maroon trim for an away strip the jersey would still keep its distinctive 'brisbane' appearance. With the predominant white however it looks just like 90% of every other away strip...

    NSW halves 2015?

The best of both worlds then: If both are selected, then Pearce's only role is to pass to Soward.

New Zealand Warriors are the "smokies" for the playoffs and even the Grand Final

It's no question that next weeks game against the Roosters will be their ultimate test for their finals credentials as pretty much every 'tough' game the Warriors have faced in the past month have resulted in a loss (Broncos away, Sea Eagles home, Knights away). Being at home against a quality...

2014 NRL Jersey and Sponsorship Discussion pt 2

Out of all the themed rounds we have nowadays, its these 'indigenous' jerseys that are starting to wear thin on me. It seems all you need to do is apply some pattern of squiggles and dots along with some team colours and it passes as something 'indigenous' which fans are only going to forget in...

    NSW Game III Team

Quick question: is Josh Morris replacing Jennings directly or is TheDugan shifting over to the left centre?

    Blake Ayshford

Ayshford: Plodimus Maximus Seriously ever since Blake Ferguson left the joint their recruitments in the backs (besides Carney and maybe Robson) has been deadset average. Add in some fairly talented wingers/centres/fullback along with a full strength forward pack (Gallen, Fifita, Lewis...

    The Footy Show 2014

Beau is a good (not great) comedy performer that i think would be much better if he collaborated with one or two writers that would offer him some quality material to play off. Anyone who watches those American late night shows would understand that their presenters spend many hours off screen...

    NSW Team 2014

Dugan's first tackle on Inglis (which he crunched him into the turf) was a good indication that QLD were reluctant to spread left at every opportunity. Another good effort by him, Even if he doesnt end up playing in the squad everytime, it should be certain that he is now an automatic contender...

Huge risk not putting Hunt on the bench IMO. Given the circumstances Daly's ankle is probably chockers with needles and strapping. It will only take one small twinge and hell be down like a sack of bricks. And he will be Target #1 for the Blues defence as well.

Reagan's thoughts on Reynolds was the best one. Needless to say though if I was Mal, I would hand each player their own description just to fire them up big time. Some of those comments for the maroons were absolutely brutal, especially for Hodges and Thaiday lol.

Last year's 62-6 demoralizing should be enough incentive to fire up the Eels in a big one. Eels 26 Storm 14

One more loss would make it the second longest losing streak in the club's history (8 straight). They are already past halfway for the club's worst meaning Plodley only needs to keep plodding for five more games.

True fact: If NSW beats QLD they will win this series. Fact #2: Saint Dugan to bag a hattrick - NSW 30, QLD 12

    '14 // R15 // Sat // Warriors 19-10 Broncos // Mt Smart

Two teams the Warriors consistently bring their A-game against: Melbourne and Brisbane. I doubt any origin stars would like to travel across the ditch in just two days after the game, meaning No Thaiday, No Hodges, No Parker, No Gillett and likey No Hunt. Warriors unbothered by rep duties...

    NSW Team 2014

Gal plays through the middle regardless of the number on his back. Dugan's inclusion is definately a gamble though, hopefully it comes off as a masterstroke by Daley. Other than that the side looks strong, with plenty of steel off the bench.

    QLD side Game 2

NRL.com predicting Milford for the utility spot. Absurd selection I know, but if QLD are in the shit with 20 mins to go this bloke would be the perfect answer, has a playing style like no other player in the team and would scare the hell out of NSW's tiring forwards plus is leading the comp with...
