So are there any work arounds for this at all? I ditched my Foxtel this year cause the Sports HD package went up to $65/m - stuff that. Is there any other way to watch the games that aren't broadcast on FTA? I'm happy to pay, just not $65/m...

Bulldog Will Hopoate will not play rugby league on Sundays for religious reasons

Hahaha... All of a sudden when the money is on the line, the Sky Daddy clause goes out the window for young Will. What did Jesus have to say about wealth again? Hahaha.... The stench is severe.

I don't know why, but I pissed myself laughing at this.

    James Tamou no-try

The fact the ball goes straight down and isn't regathered is the important part. The moment the ball comes loose, even though it's hit out by Hayne, it's a knock on if he doesn't regather the ball and put it down. Same thing with Wallace. As soon as the ball it hit out by McGuire, it's a knock...

Hahaha. Even if the next frame shows the ball hitting the ground, it's not a knock on because both hands are touching the ball when it hits the ground. It'd be just like touching the ball to the ground with it gripped it both hands - not a knock on. :)

Milford didn't knock on. For a knock on to occur, the ball needs to be propelled forward towards the opposition goal line from the hands. If the ball comes off one hand, and is gathered by the other hand before it touches the ground, it's not a knock on. We can see from the image that Milford...

Is that the most one-sided refereeing performance you've seen this year?

How can Mead contest the ball when Oates is 83 meters above him? Lol.

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

Well I'm confused. I always thought the no kicking at the ball rule came in after Slater started decapitating people.

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

Honestly, I've tried to find it on Google, but can't seem to. We've been told it's a rule, but I can't find it, that's for sure.

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

Think what you like, buddy. Correct call was made. You cannot strike at the ball with the foot while the player is attempting to score a try. It's in the rules and it's a penalty try. The correct decision was made.

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

I mean, if you wanna go on about whether Conrad meant to kick the ball, or was simply trying to get his foot under the ball, you also have to explore the other side of the coin and wonder if he had kicked how he did, but smashed Kahu in the face and broken his jaw, what would we be saying then...

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

The referees deemed the play illegal and dangerous (which it was, and has been since 2008). Hence, penalty try.

Penalty Try Further, if circumstances warrant it: ‘The Referee (or Review Officials) may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the defending team. A penalty try is awarded between the goal posts irrespective of where the offence...

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

If the exact same thing happened in the U20's game and was given no try, then the U20's refs got the decision wrong. The rule is very clear. Peoples ability to interpret the rule in an objective and reasonable manner however, is not.

Yes. What did it look like? Occam's razor ˈɒkəmz/ noun unpunctuated: Occams razor; noun: Occam's razor; noun: Ockham's razor the principle (attributed to William of Occam) that in explaining a thing no more assumptions should be made than are necessary. The principle is often invoked to...

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

"You cannot kick at the ball in any way when an attacking player is attempting to score a try" The rule is clear.

    Konrad, Kahu and the kick

Correct decision. He deliberately kicked at the ball, which you cannot do. Easy.
