    Teig Wilton covered left centre second half last week when Ferris came off. Jets always carry a back on the bench but surely Rudolf has to come in for Ferris. Ferris is good but Wilton has a bit of versatility. Rudolf way too good to leave out, he plays hard.

    For what it's worth I was talking to a prominent member of the Newtown Jets at their stand at the Newtown Festival on Sunday. Said he met with Flanno and Co on Friday and that Barba is virtually a done deal. Not that we haven't heard this before. Bought a cheap t-shirt and had a good yarn.
