Setu Tu off to Tigers on a 2 year deal. Thats the Brisbane Tigers. I thought he was one of our promising wingers that had a pathway to the NRL now that Montoya's gone... https://www.zerotackle.com/new-zealand-warriors-flyer-departs-club-signs-with-tigers-217079/

Jones got the interchange wrong again. 14 and 16 shouldnt be playing. Though my interest levels are at DGAF status now.

How does this compare to the trumpeting of Adam Blairs signing? Before we saw the onfield performance that ensued.

what do the Kiwis and the England rugby team have in common? Answer: They both miss dropgoals in the last minute to win a game.

dont want to be a meanie but the time that Kodi was on the field cost the Kiwis the game. The dummy half play was atrocious. He completely cratered the attack. But its Jones fault for picking him.

Has Stacy Jones nust copy/pasted the Warriors game plan? Its just the same uneventful kick from Johnson on tackle 5 to the same spot. Tongans eating this up.

i was sort of referring to what we would be paying JFH a season and working back from there to stay cap compliant. I have no idea how far ahead the Warriors plan their cap strategy. Have the NRL been increasing the cap each year?

Dolphins seems to make the most sense, though Roosters dont play by the cap space rules (with their affinity for brown paper bags), so maybe they can fit Hunt in there too. Also Sam Walker is being reported as signing for 2 more years and that wouldnt have come cheap.

A year ago I would have said Adam Pompey should be on the same plane, but last season he carved out a depth slot for himself - so have to give him his dues. Still has a NRL career for a bit longer.

if its like the NFL he will be with another team by the end of the weekend. They dont care about misdemeanors over there. Its a business and he has speed that cant be taught.

    OT: American footy thread

I saw a stat come up during the last game where they were introducing the players. Colton McKivitz was PFF's #6 RT so far this season. How is that even possible? What are the stats they look at?

dont mind it if its a depth piece signing. injury cover for metcalfe, can kick goals, bit of a kicking game. Sometimes you have to sign a few journeymen so you have the $$ for your main targets and can stay under the cap.

The Kiwis skipper is relatively new to captaincy but has made a successful start to what many believe will be a long tenure. Mike Thorpe spoke to James Fisher-Harris and those close to him about his leadership style and why he has such a strong following within the Kiwis camp. If actions speak...

    Ivans' new book

Maybe the Dolphins a little bit? with the Hammer leading the way. Also the Titans with all their speed showed how much damage can be done on a good day (Yikes Warriors). But its an inconsistent strategy at the best of times. Its abit like NBA teams trying to win a title by taking a boatload of...
