    Nathan Gardner

I don't know if he'll qualify - don't you need a minimum number of NRL games to make it to the ESL/get a visa? Interesting that he almost gave the game away. Seems like things have been pretty tough for him...

    Valentine can he do it

Believe he had a virus. Did not play NSW Cup.

    Nathan Gardner

Good yarn on Nathan Gardner on the NSW Rugby League's website. Reckon it's be worth keeping him for another year with Gordon moving on? If we re-signed him for this year with so much depth at the back, surely it makes sense keeping him when talent is moving on...

Paul Sironen (Kangaroos, Blues, Tigers) documentary

Great job - brilliantly packaged and a great amount of archive footage in there! All the young f***s should watch this to see how footy was really played back in the day...

    Paul Sironen Documentary

Lots of great Tigers footage - Benny Elias, Laurie Nicholls etc- in there!

Relocating a kitchen - and adding a bathroom - to an apartment

Yup, it's the next room. In regards to the price, any idea? I was hoping to get a new kitchen, new bathroom and the additional toilet and shower in (including the relocation) for under $80k. Would that work or am I well out of the ball-park figure?

Relocating a kitchen - and adding a bathroom - to an apartment

Ceilings are gyprock. Floors are concrete... I believe!

Relocating a kitchen - and adding a bathroom - to an apartment

In the process of purchasing a run-down apartment in Sydney's east... and the kitchen has had it. And it's in a terrible location. Wanted to shift it (not that there's anything worth saving from the original condition 1970s kitchen) about four metres into the next room closer to the balcony so...

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

Very, very few around Surrogate. Especially in the eastern suburbs. Looking at Domain and Realestate.com.au - unless there's somewhere else to look?

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

All very good points guys, much appreciated. Now it's just finding the place!

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

So if the council says the granny flat of 60sqm is allowed, does that not include the balcony?

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

This is all great advice guys - much appreciated. I note a lot of your concerns about her age/agility - I should have stressed she's still active and only in her early 60s. I'd imagine agility will only become an issue a decade or so down the track (hopefully) and not at all a concern now...

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

Also looking to rent out a room or two in the downstairs/main bit (in my part of the house) to help pay the mortgage. Another reason why two kitchens would be ideal.

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

All good points, she's just asked to go upstairs. She's still very agile, just prefer to invest in a house and get a dog and a pool rather than a unit. Stairs not an issue. Also, as much as I'd like her to have access to the kitchen etc downstairs, that'd kill me (and her). Private spaces...

    Building an Upstairs Granny Flat

About to purchase a house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and hopefully receive approval to go upstairs and build a granny flat to accommodate my aging mother. I basically want to keep my sanity and make the granny flat completely self-contained – with a balcony, full-sized kitchen, bathroom...

As good as Licha, half the price

Agreed. Sign him to a three- or four-year deal, get him to play back-up to Ennis for this first two years and learn off him. Could develop into one of the best in the game. We could go from having one of the poorer hooker rotations in the comp to having one of the best.

Best things to do in Seminyak/Bali

My mates and I have finally agreed on an adventure and we're headed to Seminyak in July. What have you/people you know done whilst over there? Anything you'd recommend/tell us to stay well away from? Never been to Indo so pretty keen to get people's recommendations!

Asian adventure for $5000 or under

I think we've got our wires crossed! Definitely not shelling out $$$ for the girls. Only want to ogle and meet them in bars and hilariously try to pick them up. That kinda thing...

Asian adventure for $5000 or under

Beaches in Macau? Also, decent nightlife (apart from casinos)?
