    It was bound to happen, other clubs will come sniffing around. I was actually surprised the first time he left us that club’s like the dogs or eels were not in discussions with him. Flanno is by far the best coach we’ve had since Bennet. I hope the BOD don’t stuff this up.

    A footy team is usually either ready to seriously challenge for a premiership or building towards a challenge. With Hunt, I don’t see neither of those scenarios, so keeping him on for another 12 months makes no sense.

    He has been talking rubbish for over a year now, in hindsight, probably should have let him walk last year. Can’t have your captain wanting out then try to turn him around, was never going to work. It does mean we need some experience now, so maybe Gutho slots in at half.

    Why would Lodge come to the Dragons for 150k per year if manly are offering him the same? We would have to offer minimum 250k per year. Flanno, please do everyone a favour and hand over the negotiations to a proper recruitment manager. This method of moneyballing ain’t working.

    We need a proper recruitment manager, Flanno cant do everything on his own, it’s really that simple. We really look unprofessional when we have the coach wheeling and dealing with player mangers. Webb, pull your finger out and do your job, appoint a recruitment manager asap.

    They threw a lot of resources at Mary, gave him the best opportunity to succeed. There were 6 or so different assistants, including a premiership winner in Steve Folkes. That roster between 2017-2018 was very good.
