    Shoulder pads

    I played and grew up in the era of shoulder pads in the 1980's. Was just watching an old game from 1987...How come players stopped wearing them? were they proved useless? was it because players had got some much bigger? Curious as to why?

    Easy fix NRL expand and fire a shot at Union

    Falcons v PNG :QRL g/final, sorry kev....

    Another bad decision from Mr K Locke...should have stuck it out at the Sunshine Coast falcons....who knows injury free he could have starrred and been back in nrl for 2018.

    Neil Henry?

    Titans coach due to get the bullet. How would he fit with us, even ifs its just a season or so until a Bellamy or similar was available.......He has had the titans generally competing well....the fall out with Hayne is going to cost him, but at least it shows he speaks his mind. an improvement...

    NZ league biggest problem....

    Heres one to ponder...why are we so bad and lack playing numbers in NZ? EVERY club in NZ has some type of criminal and gang association...whether it be players or club members......this turns a lot of people off and they go play rugby or soccer.... not nice to hear...but i reckon its true.....

    you deserve to be higher than the Warriors on the table.....Newcastle, u can do it as well, go Knights!. As a RL player, coach, fan for over 40 years in NZ and a full on Kiwi supporter i think Warriors need to get to rock bottom...... and they are not quite there yet. Stringing a few late wins...

    Teams; NZ, PNG, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Qld cup, NSW cup.[maybe north sydney bears]..... make this a separate professional comp [can be aligned with NRL]....the goal being to strengthen and support the islands and NZ and reward those great NSW and QLD cup players. These games will attract big...

    I hear that nz players are flying over to the Cooks to play in their local comp? Sounds like maybe a semi pro setup, must have some good backers? Will the Cooks take off bigger than Fiji?
