    You could also just allow a certain percentage of unused cap to be transferable - ie 50% If you have 500k spare in 2017, you get an additional 250k in 2018. or even 20% (500k becomes 100k). Gives Newcastle some advantage without allowing a stupefying doubling of caps etc

    You'd have to assume the latter. Seems like a BA sort of thing to do. Moses will obviously stay 7, Normy 6 - even if everyone was healthy). In the short team you'd think with Hoff's injury putting him out for a while Gutho will fill in the vacant backline spot (either he or Auva'a will play wing)
