    I was playing golf with a former rugby administrator, and he said that the best thing NRL did was get V'Landys. Went as far to say that if Rugby Australia has him, it would be seriously challenging RL for preferred winter code in Qld and NSW but obviously is dying. Interesting observation...

    it is disappointing that stadiums have a small lifespan. maybe i am just showing my age a little bit too much, but if the same theory applied, the SCG would be a without its historic charm etc. And its the same thinking that lost us the iconic Adelaide Oval.

    In my mind, there are three outcomes. One - it positively impacts the NRL, Two, it negatively impacts the NRL, or Three, it has a neutral impact on the NRL.
