    It’s not sport specific but in terms of clubs making money on home games it s a loss making exercise with the reduced capacity of stadiums and logistical costs of taking games to places such as these.

    Not sure his temperament would have suited the Warriors long term outside of possible spike (see Daniel Anderson for example). The way he jumped ship for NSW then quickly the Broncs would have meant he would have been unlikely to stick around long term anyways which is what the Warriors need

    It’s his opinions which he tends to perceive as ‘facts’. I’m not the biggest fan of soccer and AFL, personally they don’t hold my attention so I don’t tend to watch them often- I don’t wish their death, and guess what? there’s plenty of room for them to exist

    Doubt it’ll get off the ground but if it did it mightn’t be the worst thing for Union, the north rules the admin and are very self serving whilst the playing power has usually been in the South, providing an alternative could be a good thing for them

    Been to both and it’s much easier to follow a game of league at the stadium than it is a game of Union as you miss a lot of what’s going on it’s more convenient to watch on TV. Similarly AFL and Soccer are much better to watch live than on tv

    Exactly even if it moves from a 10/90 to a 15/85 split the gap is still massive, still good for league in NZ to be upping its game. As said a million times there’s plenty of space for both to thrive, one doesn’t need to take out the other- why limit your options for entertainment?
