Yes your right. As the (recklessly inflict GBH) occurred in company that is a circumstance of aggravation which has a 14 year maximum penalty. The no fault stand down covers serious criminal offences with a maximum of 11 years or more so it will be in play in this instance.

    Junior Amone

He has been charged with recklessly inflict GBH which carries 10 years. I’m surprised he hasn’t been charged with recklessly inflict GBH with intent which carries 25 years. He must have had some idea that chasing a bloke from a number of roof tops armed with a hammer may have resulted in the...

    Judiciary

‘Hip drop’ tackles were initially identified in three man tackles where two defenders hold the attacker up and the third dangerously attacked the legs. What made the situation worse was the 2 initial defenders pushing the attacker back over his collapsed legs. This was more evident in the tackle...

    The Rumours Thread

Yep it was a Sivo special. Jumped in the air, head on the wrong side, eyes closed tackle. I think he broke someone else’s eye socket a few weeks later with another Sivo special. A more prominent player from memory and was suspended.

    Positive ONLY thread

My young fella and I are in Kiama from Port Macquarie for a Rugby League tournament this week. We went past Win stadium today to see if we could get a glimpse of a player or two on the way down. Long story short, we were seen near the fence and invited in to watch training. Every player there...

    Round 8 v Raiders

I heard on the Big Sports Breakfast that Koroibete is on 650k with the ARU and would be looking for similar coin returning to the NRL. I don’t think we will throw that amount around for a winger. Nor should we. The other two maybe good value buys but.

    The Rumours Thread

True but they were the first to let staff go. Time will tell i guess. Seems like the teams bank rolled by leagues clubs that looked the strongest prior to this crisis are the ones that have laid the staff off. Teams with more diverse financial interests are still hanging in there. Early days though.

    The Rumours Thread

So a club that is reliant on funding from a leagues club group in Newcastle that are all now closed losing millions and had to lay off all of their coaching staff is going to pay 2.1 million for a player in this climate? sounds a little odd...

    Indigenous Dragons

I thought he played well in the nines. He was stripped twice tonight. Second time I thought there was 3 in the tackle. Hasn’t played a lot in the last few years. Might be a bit rusty. Looks like a strong runner and capable defender. Hopefully he can build as the year goes on.

he has always had the tools seems as though he is starting to have some belief in his ability. I’m hoping the brace is just a precaution :fingers_crossed:

Shane Flanagan to Dragons - Suggested in yesterdays Daily Telegragh

Flanagan is a 2 time cheat. Players injected with gear and salary cap rorting. I for one don’t want to see our club infected by this grub. Can’t wait for the door to hit McGregor’s arse on the way out but in my opinion Flanagan is not the answer. “Look for three things in a person -...

    Shane Flanagan

Flanagan is a scum bag. Presided over the club during the peptide fiasco and the salary cap rort. His assistants including a Doctor that had been with Cronulla for a very long time were thrown under the bus and he was resurrected only to fall foul once again. I wake every morning hoping there...

    Round 19 vs Souths

Can’t believe Tariq sims effort, 62 meters and 23 tackles.... piss poor. This isn’t the first week. McInnes and Graham are all heart. Graham is fading but gives everything he has.

Confidence is contagious, so is lack of confidence. The leader of the club came across as a hesitant, bumbling idiot. “Winning isn’t everything but wanting to is” (Vince Lombardi) He gave McGregor a pass Mark for his results during his tenure. Diabolical. The records of Melbourne and the...

    Tariq charged

Think it is a bit like a criminal appeal. All grounds or severity. They are saying that if he appealed the severity he might have been cleared. He went the all grounds. Terrible decision by the judiciary. Sivo leaves the ground 1.5 meters from Norman with his eyes closed and a swinging arm...

    Jeremy Latimore

Last night I attended a charity function for a mother of a young family diagnosed with cancer in Port Macquarie. Latimore purchased, at his own expense, a number (Not positive but think there was 4) other teams jerseys and had them all signed as well as donating the jersey he wore for the...
