    Also the improved TV ratings in those states--- that's where the AFL 'beats' the NRL is by having decent TV ratings for big games (Finals, etc.) is that the AFL is watched by more people in Sydney & Brisbane than NRL is in Adelaide & Perth.

    Melbourne supports the Storm better than Sydney supports most of the Sydney club. Hilarious suggestion to think that minnows like the Sharks, Manly & The Bears (R.I.P. eh Stallion) will ever be a profitable team with a larger supporter base.
