    Nice idea about Field but he needs to make it to 90kg first. On a frame of 181cm, he should be able to do it even if it costs him a little speed. He will just go from the fastest to one of the fastest players in the NRL. Good enough if he can better handle heavy collisions.

    This doesn't change anything. Merely means there will be pressure on Widdop to perform at fullback, pressure on Norman to perform at 5/8 and pressure on Dufty to improve the deficiencies in his game in the ISP until next year pending the failure of or injury to Widdop or Norman.

    Nonsense! Brett Stewart was suspended for public intoxication. NRL couldn't suspend him for sexual assault because it would have been a travesty of justice. he too was innocent until proven guilty, which of course he never was.

    There was likely never any interest in Dufty. He is a good player but fullbacks who get rag-dolled when the defence gets hold of them aren't popular in the NRL. He needs to change something. Maybe the way he runs or take a few months off, away from drug testers and try some human growth hormone.
