    Rabbitohs rumours, signings, injuries etc

Give Matterson a one year deal and then throw the book at fifita for 2021

    Rabbitohs rumours, signings, injuries etc

I would have agreed with you had he not been banned for performance enhancers a couple months ago. Loved the way that boy played and was sad to see him go.

Surprising when you see his running style. Goes straight through blokes

    Rabbitohs rumours, signings, injuries etc

Gebbie looks something special, PNG starting to pump out some serious talent. I think he may well be in Bennett’s fullback plans. He’s a class above in Q cup right now and only 24. He’s showing far more promise than Corey Allen ever did and he’s already got international experience.

    Round 12 - Eels vs Rabbitohs: Friday 31st May 7:55pm @Bankwest Stadium

Koalamatangi can play anywhere in the pack but 9. He brings a strong work ethic and a good pass at the line. Nicholls brings a couple dropped balls and penalties. Knight maintains the intensity when he's on but Nicholls is noticeably slower and less fit.

    Round 12 - Eels vs Rabbitohs: Friday 31st May 7:55pm @Bankwest Stadium

Jesus that is an enormous pack. Would have liked to see Koalamatangi in there for Nicholls but that’s alright. I think by the end of the year Liam Knight will be pushing a start. He’s an absolute weapon, no handbrakes and a lot of mongrel. Really looking forward to seeing Tracey getting a run too

    Rabbitohs rumours, signings, injuries etc

Don't rate this but understand we're in some lean times. I agree with @callmack re Douihie coming back through reserves but we simply don't have the cattle.Gagan is hopeless, he's shown absolutely nothing in reserves to suggest he's a first grader, averaging around 70 meters a game and a very...

    Rabbitohs rumours, signings, injuries etc

Jesus, what’s our lineup going to look like this week then boys? No Murray, Walker, Reynolds, Cook, Gagai. Tracey been out for reserves, going to have a rookie hooker playing 80 and most likely Sutton the chief play maker. Need Douhie and Burns back asap

    Round 7 - Panthers vs Rabbitohs: Friday 26th April 7:35pm @Panthers Stadium

I’m also nervous, Panthers have a dangerous backline, going to be a real challenge for Turner and Allen. I thought Allen’s defence was good last week though. Look out for Aekins the Penrith fullback. He’s been the best number 1 in reserve grade for a couple of years now and in his only NRL game...

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

That’s what I was thinking, our reserve pack is full of potential, even young Brock Gray in there. I know what you mean about Lucky, he had big wraps as a versatile forward with footwork when he came through junior kiwis a couple of years back. Injuries haven’t done him any favours. If he can...

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

@Handyman, having watched the Canterbury cup games, what’s your opinion on Amone and Koloamatangi, the latter seems to be really coming of age, I see he’s been playing lock, Do you know if he’s more of a prop or backrower? Can’t find much info

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

Just saw his stats for last weekend, 4 errors, definitely not good enough for first grade, fair call Handyman. He is a strong ball runner though with a great off load and enthusiasm in defence. With our current pack we need dynamic forwards coming off the bench, Nicholls is safe and reliable but...

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

Stoked to see Knight back, him Tatola and the twins makes for a relentless front row rotation. Think Nicholls is dead weight on the bench, would much rather Kennedy given another run. Turner at centre is worrying for me, his lack of speed in defence could hurt us but I prefer him to Gagan. Not...

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

Gagan was rubbish, give Graham a shot at centre, the position he played when he captained the Aussie schoolboys, and give hiroti a go on the wing, he’s a weapon and he can kick goals

Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Warriors: Saturday 13th April 3pm @Sunshine Coast Stadium

Sutton needs to be coming off the bench, Lowe can play the first 55. Turner offers very little and I think Britt should be given his chance, in the backline I think moving Graham to centre and Hiroti to the wing would be a better option than using Gagan to replace Inglis, fingers crossed the big...

    Round 3 - Rabbitohs vs Titans: Sunday 31st March 6:10pm @ANZ Stadium

Was really impressed by Kennedy’s attitude and he had a great work rate in defence. Really like what Bennet is doing with our young front rowers. Kennedy, Knight and Tatola have all improved immensely and with Amone still to come into the side and George returning from suspension we’ve got a...

    Round 1 - Roosters vs Rabbitohs: Friday 15th March 7:55pm @SCG

I’m not pinning my hopes and dreams of number 22 on the back of Allen. Kid can obviously plan and has big wraps on him but you really can’t rush these things. People constantly slate Aj and a big part of that is his supposed lack of ball playing ability. Last year he scored 8 tries and made 11...

    Round 1 - Roosters vs Rabbitohs: Friday 15th March 7:55pm @SCG

    1. Aj 2. Gagai 3. Gi 4. Burns 5. Graham 6. Walker 7. Reyno 8. Tom 9. Cook 10. Tatola 11. Sam 12. Sutton 13. Murray Looks like how we’ll line up, unsure about the bench though, there’s a slim chance that Knight, Nicholls or Kennedy have done enough to start. Gutted Amone isn’t in the top 30...

    2019 Pre-Season

Wow that first article really gives me a proverbial hard on. Adam Reynolds working with Sam Burgess, Greg Inglis and Dane Gagai on the right will be insane. Gives us so much more balance across the park. Cody still has an improved Braidon Burns and Graham to work with alongside Sutts coming off...
