    He is obviously an outstanding player but I'd rather the club didn't break the bank on a centre. If he were being recruited to play fullback, that would be another story but would he be as good at fullback? Would it be worth the risk?

    Oats is great at making a lot of meters but makes so many mistakes. I'd be interested in the other guy to see if he can make it as a fullback. Dufty isn't cutting it. The occasional freakish try isn't enough to compensate for his shortcomings.

    And Ben Hunt made it abundantly clear he didn't want Widdop at 5/8. Even though Norman is a far superior 5/8 in every facet of the game except goal kicking, I wouldn't have put it past McGregor to play him off the bench or at fullback to accommodate Widdop. The guy is that dumb!
