Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

If my 10 year old was to deck/bully or worse someone else's kid should I expect the victims parents to just get over it because he was just 10 and therefore it's all good. No I wouldn't I would completely understand that the victims parents would not be a fan of my son and would have every...

Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

His parents have said that Ricky has had nothing to do with him since he was 12. If Ricky had a negative opinion of Salmon based on what Salmon did to his kid what would Salmon have done since then for Ricky to have cause to change his opinion. Surely you don't think kicking one of Ricky's...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

Yes the Warriors are away from their families and personally that is tough for them no doubt. However, as a football team they have been set up close to their allocated home ground and have had limited travel since arriving in Australia. It was only last night that the commentary team were...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

Other than the points about the ref every other point you have mentioned are 100 % factual and all valid points all of which were presented by the media more so the Sydney media rather than the Canberra media. It is common knowledge and has been presented a number of times by the rugby league...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

All of those teams mentioned were able to play home games at home with the exception of the Warriors who are playing out of a ground very close to their accommodation. Yes the Warriors is away from their families but their game day preparation has been fairly easy compared to the Raiders.

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

I didn't say it was the draw. I said only time will tell how much influence the draw has had on the Panthers form. Only having one game outside Sydney since the competition resumed is a massive advantage, would they have been performing as well if they had a similar schedule as the Raiders who...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

Panthers are in great form and deserve to be favourites in this game. The facts are really simple though. Whilst they didn't draw up the draw themselves between them and the eels they were the biggest beneficiaries of the covid draw. How much of an impact the draw has had on their form who knows...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

I'm not talking about the fans I'm talking about the impact of the travel on the players this season. The facts are pretty simple really the Panthers have travelled 2300km this year on game day and the Raiders have basically 5 times that amount. The Warriors haven't even come close to that this...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

If you can't see an issue with the travel would you be saying the same thing if it was Canberra who had done 2000km and your team had done the 13000kms?

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

Didn't the Roosters ask for their match to be delayed so they wouldn't have a five day turn around when they were up against the eels and their game was going to be played in their home city. The 5 day turn around is not as big an issue under normal circumstances when they can travel up the day...

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

That was on the back of a 5 day turn around and grand final rematch in which the better team won in the end. Any moron can see there is a huge difference between racking up 13000km in travel compared to the panthers 2300km.

    2020 R13 Sat - Panthers 28-12 Raiders @ Panthers

The only reason they took the winger from the field was that he got injured and will be out for 3-4 weeks apparently.

    News Curtis Scott

Maybe they have just learnt from recent history that sacking players just ends up biting them in the butt because the NRL doesn't back up teams that do the right thing. They just allow said players to sign a fat contract with a Sydney team and become the media's latest redemption story.

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

But I too am out waste of time and won't change anything.

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

I don't deny they weren't good enough to win but only a fool would say they weren't unlucky that game. The freak trainer incident was the very definition of unlucky.

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

Ok I re-phrase then would you be singing the same tune if it happened to your team in the future because it wasn't fixed this off-season. And I have never said the Raiders were robbed. My argument was that it was a stretch for the Roosters to come out amd argue that they were dudded by the refs...

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

Would you be singing the same tune if by some freak coincidence it happened to the Roosters in the next few years and cost the Roosters the grand final (I'm not saying it cost the Raiders the game just like I haven't claimed the illegal change of call cost the Raiders the game).

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

Surely the fact it doesn't happen often isn't a reason not to fix it now that the fault in the rule has been identified.

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

No I have only ever said that the trainer situation was ruled correctly. I have however said that the rule should be tweaked moving forward so that a team is not advantaged by the ball hitting their own trainer.

Bernard Sutton admits Roosters dudded thrice during Grand Final - according to Weidler

I don't want them to break the rules at all. I just want them to fix the outdated interference rule and police the trainer rules. Mistakes happen all the time but changing a call mid play is a breaking the rules as apposed to ruling one incorrectly.
