    Chile 2-0 Equador with a dodgy penalty to Chile. In the end Chile was definitely the better team but seemed to be very nervous and Equador on numerous occasions nearly got them on the counter attacks.

    1 sleep to go and its the opening match, Chile vs Ecuador 8.30pm kickoff (9.30am Syd time). Then it games every night of the week in the group games until the 21st, the final on the 4th of July.

    My wife is chilena and we decided while our 2 sons are still in their mid teens we would let them experience the culture, learn the language and spend plenty pf time with extended family over here they just dont see. Food is pretty decent as well. ;-) We are going to work with the poor as well...
