    Hello GongPanther 1978 was definitely the year I went to the semis just to watch them left afterwards , much to the bemusement of the guy on the gate , but missed the GF. Very excited afterwards, our first title. I could talk for days about that team and the '73 U/23's team. Great memories.

    Ron was a good player but came to Penrith late in his career like most players we signed then, and missed s lot of games due to injury.

    Ron came to Penrith in 69 if I remember rightly and was there for 2 or 3 years .Was referred to as Little Artie at times as he could slip a magical pass on occasions.
