Chooseday Night Footy - Fox Sports 2; Magpies Vs. Sharks Quarter Final 1996

Greetings Cronulla Faithful, Chooseday Night Football on Fox Sports 2 next Tuesday has a theme of Week One Finals. The Magpies & Sharks have been nominated, for their Quarter Finals Appearance back in 1996, when Western Suburbs qualified 8th out of 20 Teams and the Sharks who ran 5th back in...

    Stephen Noyce

Hey Chook Fans... I'm in need of contacting Stephen Noyce. Do any of you have his e-mail address? If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass it on. Cheers & Thanks in advance.

    disgruntled board

If the the Joint-Venture club bared the name 'Magpies' instead of Tigers, that supposed support that is far greater would all of a sudden not seem so dominate. Think about it.... And besides the greatest aspect of 'Wests Tigers' is that the next generation of fans will only be concerned about...

    New Magpie 'Retro' Jersey?

Hey gang, what's doing? Well, I and a few others are in the process of trying to get another Western Suburbs Magpies Retro jersey produced by Classic Sportswear. In an era where tradition is a thing of the past, it's important to showcase case a club's history in the greatest game of all...

    Campbelltown Crowds

No she didn't see Wests Tigers lose in '89, probably due to the fact that Wests Tigers weren't participating in '89. Suze isn't a Balmain supporter. Nor is she a Western Suburbs Supporter. She is what everyone should be, a WESTS TIGERS Supporter, with no attachment to either Joint-Venture...

Orange & Black. Where is the white!

Dear oh Dear. JoeJoe, from an old Magpie to a Magpie, grow up champion. Campbelltown is going off. The area is booming with a great sense of pride for Wests Tigers. Black, White and Gold, are the colours, but you have to respect the old Tigers will only use two of the three colours. And is it...

    Round 9 (2005) Rhinos v Eels

Name: Gobbs No: 33 Position: Centre Club: O.C. Rhino's The Gold Coast Admission...The NRL continues to drive the knife deeper into the heart of Rugby League's loyal combantant's and fans. A 16th team is only good for two things. The growth of Rugby League as a sporting code and to hopefully...

To Wests Magpies and Balmain Tiger fans

Done! just sent my email's off to them. Would be great to see the NSWRL Premier League getting the coverage and recognition it truely deserves. Heck, it would definitely rate better than Club Rugby.

    Round 9 (2004) Rhinos v Souths

"Gobbs darts away from dummi-half to take pressure off the Rhino's, stepping Rabbitoh defender's at will..." Name: Gobbs Team: Rhinos Position: Centre Team No.: 3 Expansion, is it morally right? Many in the Rugby League community believe that ‘16’ is the right number, the right...

    Not so bad

The Bye couldn't have come at a worse time. Yes it was good to get over a few niggling little injuries a few players might have had, but it can stall your momentum, and that's what Sheens was afraid of. It will be a much more structured Wests Tigers team come next sunday, you can put your house...

    relax and read this

For the record, Sheens quit the Cowboys on his own accord, taking stress leave. Going from a team of internationals (Canberra) to a team of mainly just establish 1st Grader's (Nth QLD) was a big culture shock for him and he struggled to turn them into a successful outfit. He struggled and left...

It'll be tragic if the Tigers don't make the 8

Same as the Magpies brother probably going back to 1983 when they were expelled from the comp. They were never wanted by the Rugby League fraternity! That's why its made such a perfect Joint-Venture! the term 'luck' has never existed with both clubs, and continues on with Wests Tigers. Part and...

    Campbo,Cowboys,Magpie jerseys & 7th spot.

True that brother! Do yourselves a favour...GET OUT THERE! It is officially the biggest game in the Joint-Venture's history. It's do or die Wests Tigers fans! Your team needs you. I know one thing..."I'll be there!"

Robert Mears -once again ill say it

Wests need depth if they are to be successful. Re-signing Mears would be a brilliant move. He brings spark and another dimension of attack when on the field and provides Sheens with options to have at hooker. Better to be safe than sorry, and his overall form warrants another contract in my opinion.

    C.91.3

Yeah why not, why not get a sport/footy show happening on the Station. Great idea. They'd be behind us 100% too...Another way of getting the Joint-Venture club being able to identify itself with its community/area.

    Luke Milton

Would have felt right at home with Union then ay Brook! Typical Western Suburbs sign a nuffy!
