Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

We need to find some potential players with chicks who are aspiring lawyers rather than aspiring actresses/models/social media influencers

    2019 Crowd Watch

Agree with this 100%. I posted something similar a couple weeks back after Wests Tigers v Bulldogs at Campbelltown where the game drew much larger than what was reported. It’s not some complicated conspiracy- it’s just incompetence. The stadium operators and staff aren’t experienced at dealing...

    Rationalisation of Sydney

I wouldn’t mind betting that Parra v Wests attendance has outdrawn the Qld derby with the Easter Monday game. Not sure that’s the best example

    2019 Crowd Watch

    1) no way there was 15k there. Crowd was couple thousand bigger easily. GA tix sold out 20 mins b4 kick off. I go to every game there and I would like to know where the other ~5k would fit. 2) yes there was a good dogs contingent but so there should be. Its a local derby, just like Wests who...

Match Discussion: Round 3 vs Bulldogs @ Campbelltown Stadium

I’ve watched both reserve grade games last 2 weeks and grub has played well. Looked quite sharp with a few breaks but still lacks match fitness. He got absolutely ironed out by Jessie Sue after a kick and I’m surprised he didn’t injure his ribs. Btw with all the concern re Liddle injuries I...

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Oh and I reckon Teddy is 1000:1 to ever come back

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

But but according to Trent Robinson on NRL on Fox he’s now a complete player since coming to the Chooks. They even were kind enough to teach Teddy how to pass. They should be commended for how they develop players into stars because clearly Tedesco was just a nuffy at the WT

Match Discussion: Round 4 vs Panthers @ Panthers Stadium

Luke Burt has to be there.

    Farah re-signs until 2017

Thanks for that fellas. Report I saw certainly gave it a different spin. No wonder these players treat the media the way they do. Scumbags.

    Farah re-signs until 2017

I haven't been paying much attention over the last few weeks since the Potter shafting as I was a bit over our club TBH. But did I see correctly a report on Fox that Jason Taylor had asked Farah to withdraw from Aus rep duty to concentrate on the offseason with WT? Surely this would have...

    Metal thread \m/

Spewing I missed High On Fire, but have seen em before. Like you I can't wait for Neurosis - got tix yesterday. One to cross off the bucket list. Also that latest Mastodon album is still going strong, I love it. Album of the year for sure.

    Metal thread \m/

Coincidentally, I listened to Roots yesterday for the first time in years! I totally agree that their older shit is much better but I still have a soft spot for that album. Came out when I was in Year 12 and listened to it non stop. It was a natural progression from some of the tribal stuff on...

    Metal thread \m/

Yes, this album is awesome. Could probably do without Max's vocals - KILL, TRIBE, WAR, etc etc. New Mastodon is out soon too. Best metal band in the world at the moment ;-)

    Martin Taupau

He's been carrying that injury for ages. Spoke to him after the win over the Cowboys and it was giving him grief then. Prob needs a week or two off to get it right, but these next 2 games are so crucial to our season not sure we can afford that. When's Gavet back?

    Round 10 v Cronulla

I can't believe people are still slamming Rowe after his game against the Chooks. Was our best player. I'll admit I didn't think he had it in him, but surely deserves to keep his spot on that performance. I agree that Austin has been disappointing, looked disinterested a couple of times. I'm...

    Crowd Watch 2014 part 2

People outside of Sydney don't get it. Last year for my wife's bday I took her to the WT v Sharks at Allianz stadium on Friday night. (yes I am a true romantic). Live approx 60kms outside of Sydney. Left at 4pm to drop off the kids with the plan to have a few drinks and a feed prior to the...

Wests Campbelltown CEO enters debate on crowds

Agree. Perfect example is my next door neighbour. Not really a footy fan, supported manly somewhat. His two boys are absolutely nuts about WT and managed to get him converted and wearing the merch. Win the hearts and minds of the kids and the Magpies v Balmain bullshit becomes irrelevant.

Wests Campbelltown CEO enters debate on crowds

As a Camden local and a long time member let me give my view. The crowd was embarrassing. There are numerous factors which need to be addressed for the good of WT and the code in general. Mayer posted 2000 tix/members didn't turn up. I personally know 6. This was due to not wanting the...
