Why is Phil and the Roosters Worried about the CBA

It cheers me that the moderators in this place attempt to stay so impartial, always sets a good example for the rest of us. I won't waste any more of my time here, I'm sorry I came back to this sea of bile and bitter opinions.

Why is Phil and the Roosters Worried about the CBA

I'll take a declared self-interest over a hidden agenda any day Stgillaman. He's parochial and one-eyed but he's a columnist, not a reporter so he provides opinion not just "facts". He spends his days working with the Roosters organisation and this is the backdrop to his experience and...

    Newcastle gets first crack

He had a rather nasty hamstring tendon injury which put him out for half the regular season and had an unsurprising effect on the big lad's fitness and weight. Combine that with Anthony Tuopo's broken leg and it wasn't a good year for our "nextbigthing" props.

Penrith, Sydney Roosters, Canberra, Cowboys and Wests

Dear god if we start listing the Stud for Life's ex girlfriends this list could get pretty long ;-)

    Walsh - Comedian!

Great, then you can all adjourn back to Panthers to put another $2.9m into Roger Cowan's super fund. The height of hypocracy to allege that the Panthers are paupers.

The roosters are not cheats damn it

Mastabation, catch up. Mason is still a nobody.

Saturday night spelled the end of Buderus's rep career.

Seems that supporters of teams that have trouble winning finals matches still think that "utility" is a dirty word. Something that Flannery, Crocker and Wing have been debunking all year. I don't call throwing inside balls every 4 out of 5 posessions "organisational ability" ala Buderus in...

    Hanley or Morley?

As said above, its a bit of apples and oranges comparing the two. A better comparison would be Morley and Reilly. From a Roosters perspective Morley is worth his weight when compared to our last high-profile english import, Martin Offiah

    NZ, CC or GC

IMHO Brisbane/GC would be my pick for a "new" team. Being a (inter)national competition it's a joke that there is only one SE Qld team. I look at the positive experience of Port Adelaide in the AFL and think that they should perhaps look at "promoting" a local club side to the NRL.

Sunday night spells the end of Roosters Cogburn

I'll let Melon field the first of your dribble but you'll note that Shadowboxer is from "the shire", the land that success forgot. You're a gibberer, plain and simple.

    Telecrap at it again!!

With Chesterton or Roosterphin? It's my job to draft and break off contracts and it still boggles that Souths didn't have an exclusivity clause. Either they were very silly or very magnanimous.

    Roosters sign Luke Dorn

The sane and rational would wonder about the utility of asking questions in a forum where there is no chance of receiving an informed reply instead of mere uninformed opinion and speculation. We now return you to discussion on the salary cap, UFO abductions and the price of petrol at the pump.

Or Jason Cayless? (big money offer from the Tigpies)

    Season 2003 Discussion and results

I can't speak for the Eastern Suburbs as a whole, just like Newcastle hasn't appointed a jibberer like you to be their social barometer. What I do know is that any more red, white and blue bunting and my porch is going to collapse. I'm proud of my team that made it's third grandfinal in 4...

    Roosters sign Luke Dorn

Don't feel sorry for Simon, he retired because he wanted to have a/c joints that would last past his 40th birthday and not because of the cap. He wanted to be a one-club man and retire on top. Cue the conspiracy theorists.

    Season 2003 Discussion and results

Exactly why there was more people to watch the Roosters last public training session than at Penrith. But before any of you reply, don't worry as I'm sure Shane Richardson had some spies out there taking photos of the crowd for a headcount...

    Roosters sign Luke Dorn

See, there is a perfect example. The only numbers that you can be aware of is the number of players signed versus the number released and possibly some of the bigger paypackets. What numbers are you adding up? Are you not just leaping to conclusions based on subjective opinions of a club's...
