Rugby League Australia Most Popular Sport?

I might be wrong but is Destination NSW paying for A-League Grand Finals to be held in Sydney. And if so does it matter that is government money?

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

In case anyone missed it, here is Andrew Johns and Fittler talking about Brook's game. I think their response gives us some hope, 'a big fish' or 'a top line player' and 'hasn't reached his potential' wow, some interesting descriptions there, even the non believers would have to agree. Taking...

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Maybe, but I reckon there would be a number of 'experts' that would say Brooks can still turn into a quality half back given the right environment. He certainly has all the ingredients, speed, defence, kicking, experience......Moses did it

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

I don't thinks it's that funny. Sheens and Marshall know a good footballer more than most people and seem to believe that Brooks is a better player than Hastings and can turn him into a top quality half back. I think you have to have some faith in them, I'll be enjoying the ride if they do...

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

It's clear that Sheens and Benji still thinks we haven't seen the best of Brooks and maybe they're right. It's time for Brooks to reach that potential we have all been waiting for for all these years and that's exciting.

    2021 RLWC Men's Semi Finals

Definitely, Smith was gone five minutes before that try, it was obvious he was struggling to keep up.

    2021 RLWC Men's Semi Finals

Should've taken Brandon Smith of earlier, you could see he was gone, I thought it was obvious, buggered. And then wasn't there for the tackle on Murray

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Geez that's a big risk playing Laurie at 6, he's unproven, you would have keep Brooks or AD at least, just in case. Brooks for Klemmer would be okay and keep AD, I think AD still has room for improvement

    NZ should be favourites?

Yeah I started a new thread and didn't notice this one. After watching the Storm vs the Roosters, it showed how strong the Kiwis will be at the World Cup. The two front rowers Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona were awesome and the the Bromich brothers, also Brandon...

    2022 R24 Fri - Melbourne 14-18 Sydney @ AAMI

Great game Kiwi team mates going at each other, Australia should watch out. Actually what about the amount of Kiwis on display and Fisher Harris from the Panther

    Opinion Penrith

I agree with your reference to their defence. Panthers seem to get off their line faster and more consistently than any other team so the opposition find it hard to get momentum coming out of their half, they are so fit, they must be relentless at training. It seems they are offside all the time

    Trouble at Tigertown

I know, Chammas, Hooper and Rothfield all wrong. I wonder if they care that they got it wrong or did they make stuff up on purpose. Smetimes you have to wonder about these guys and if they have any integrity.

    Top 5 Prelim Finals

Yeah the 2005 semi was massive for a number of reasons - After the pain that Balmain and Wests had been through with the merger - The close calls for Balmain in the 80's - The absence of any success for both teams for a very long time - And they were big underdogs that night - Playing a team...

    Salary Cap Effectiveness

What about support staff such as number and types of physios, dietitians, mental coaches etc and facilities such as training facilities, grounds etc? This must play a part when attracting players. This is there place of work, so the more support and better facilities the more attractive place...

    Benji Marshall....

What a player, he has his flaws but it would be hard to find a player with a highlight reel like this one. And this is without his Kiwi magic. Congrats on the 300 and thanks for the memories
