Jezza announces retirement at seasons end

Definitely one of my favourite players, along with Beau Scott in this article - my favourite story about the two of them: http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/why-wayne-bennett-has-put-so-much-faith-in-hard-men-jeremy-smith-and-beau-scott/story-fndv33vy-1226726443136

Round 8 Anzac Day clash 2016 vs Manly Game Discussion

Geez that reminded me of watching Pete years ago in U20's in the centres

    R21 | Dragons 46-24 Knights @ Jubilee | Sun 2pm

Good point That's a shame for everyone! Knights fans and fantasy footy followers alike! In that case I am even more impressed at however we managed to keep Gagai

    R21 | Dragons 46-24 Knights @ Jubilee | Sun 2pm

Interesting, thanks mate Yes I watched him at fullback, but even from a fantasy footy point of view, Gagai was way better when playing there, even in a bottom 4 team (had output similar to the top 5-6 outside backs/fullbacks in the game), so surely that's an indicator or something

    R21 | Dragons 46-24 Knights @ Jubilee | Sun 2pm

Have I missed something (I haven't been as up with Knights related news as much the last couple of months) but surely what kept Gagai in Newcastle was that he was promised fullback in 2016? I'm sure we all saw how good he was there this year, and presumably Mamo would be on the wing while he...

    R21 | Dragons 46-24 Knights @ Jubilee | Sun 2pm

Hard to compete for the full 80 in the middle when you lose your #1 prop in the first 10 mins Especially with: - the sun burning up the players and temps in the mid 20's - a bench that is pretty light on in the middle forwards department Nice to see those good patches in the first half...

'This club is a rabble' thread #5,672...

Truly worrying signs if there's a whole heap of long term die-hards making very similar posts in this thread. One of the great things about this place has always been the quality debates, but we all seem to be on board with this one.

'This club is a rabble' thread #5,672...

Interesting thread...one to bookmark potentially... Not going to repeat what pretty much everyone else has said, but I too had a bit of a watershed moment last night also. Wonder if the same has happened in a number of people's minds across the organisation...only time will tell I guess! Will...

Leilua gone at the end of 2015

Gagai was a weapon in juniors at fullback Was Broncos U20's fullback, and when I was trolling the stats from the games, he stood out massively - was so excited when we signed him as he was probably my favourite player coming through at the time from any of the U20's teams Also played fullback...

    '15 | TEST | May 3 | AUS 12-26 NZL | Suncorp

The main difference between the weather experienced today in Brisbane, and the weather experienced in the Hunter (and to a lesser extent, Sydney) last week, is that no NRL games are played on Tuesdays. I'm sure that if there was a match on at Hunter Stadium that day, that the game would've been...

    R24 // Broncos 48-6 Knights @ Suncorp // Sat 5.30pm

Frustrating - possibly the first time all year we have our full strength forward pack on the field (in particular, middle fowards rotation) and bloody ASADA comes in and ensures we will most likely get beaten up the middle for the 2823952903th time this year (and for the past 5-10 years, seems...

    R24 // Broncos 48-6 Knights @ Suncorp // Sat 5.30pm

Tee hee hee Lucky your username isn't broncos2013 :) Looking forward to being in the away team bay as JW said earlier :D Probably the biggest plus for us is that this is the strongest forward pack (particularly props) we've named all year I think, and that's important as its our biggest...

    R24 // Broncos 48-6 Knights @ Suncorp // Sat 5.30pm

I don't think they will be at all by the sounds of this: "The Knights train in Newcastle on Wednesday and Friday before traveling to Brisbane for Saturday?s match against the Broncos." http://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2014/08/19/knights_name_round_24_team.html

JD I think Haffa might live in QLD Not surprised that Gold Coast residents can watch the other game - possibly the NRL knows that you can watch NBN as well as Ch 9 Bris and have unblocked the other game as they know you can watch either anyway

    R20 // Knights 16-12 Roosters @ Hunter // Fri 7.40pm

In his couple of games he has been pretty good in attack this year Yosh, I recall a number of times he has set up tries, often by drawing a few players (he has been playing centre) and offloading the ball to his fullback or winger

Wayne Bennett and future coach talk

I don't think he's actually likely to get the job, but I think Griffin's a pretty good coach (including all the negatives that have been well pointed out above) I know a lot about, and watch almost as much of the Broncos as I do about the Knights...and I think one of the biggest impacts on...

Another billionaire wants to buy us...

Agreed pervy For those of you who would like to see more of the business side of the NRL, he did a great 1 hour interview with the UNSW School of Business almost a month ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2n1GoGkbg4
