USA and Canada to host RLWC2025

Cracking the North American market would be the ultimate for a Rugby League Internationalist. I'm excited by this news :) There are however, a few questions which will need to be answered. At what time of the year will the tournament be played? Autumn/winter in the northern USA and Canada I...

    RLWC2033

With the RLIF having announced the awarding of the 2025 World Cup to USA & Canada, is it too early to announce the hosts for the 2033 World Cup? ....... France, to celebrate the centenary of the sport in the country. Just hope I'm alive to see it :)

BREAKING: RLIF awards England 2021 RLWC, Nth America recommended 2025

What do you believe needs to happen in North America prior to 2025 for a successful World Cup to be held there at that time? Is a "semi-pro" competition necessary, or do we just need to see some North Americans playing in the NRL and/or ESL? Where do you see the Toronto Wolfpack being at that...

Why does rugby league have trouble expanding internationally compared to other codes

I think NRL fans will only start to take more notice of International Rugby League when it becomes more competitive. At the moment, the Kiwis have been able to put up a few good performances against the Kangaroos, but also a few more ordinary ones. I think that what International Rugby League...

The USA have defeated the Canadian Wolverines 20-14 with a last minute intercept try to break a 14 all deadlock, to win the Colonial Cup ( according to Canada Rugby League twitter)

RLWC 2017 Americas Qualifiers - LIVE Saturday morning EST

If Canada beat Jamaica during the week, then next week's match between the Hawks and the Wolverines will be the decider, with the winner qualifying for the World Cup, regardless of whether Canada beat Jamaica by 1 point or 100 points. I think only qualifier on that would be if the USA v Canada...

RLWC 2017 Americas Qualifiers - LIVE Saturday morning EST

I've lost my stream completely since half time ( it was very broken in the first half), so would someone be able to update the score? Many Thanks, Poul.

    USA vs Canada Rematch

I note there are no XIIIs players selected for the Hawks. Is it that the XIIIS won the championship on the back of their imports, or were they just a very well drilled team? It also puzzles me as to why at least one of the Colonial Cup matches was not played in Canada, considering the crowds...

Internationals in OZ - Does distance disipate dedication ?

I'm not a Pom, and am based in Sydney, but for the 2008 World Cup, I got to 12 games out of a total of 18. It should have been 13, but I missed the Scotland v Fiji match at Gosford. I think it may have just been viable to get to a 14th match, but the Ireland v Samoa match at Parramatta kicked...

Queensland Legends make inroads into South Sudan

After having had a look on Googlemaps, it does indeed appear that there are streets named after Queensland Origin Legends, including Mal Meninga Drive. Best of all though is "Queenslander Drive" It would appear that many of the streets in Juba have "foreign" names.

PNG team in Queensland Cup, then NRL?

That's great. They could play some games in Fiji as well

PNG team in Queensland Cup, then NRL?

How about calling them the "Coral Coast Cassowaries"? The Coral Sea lies between PNG and North Queensland, and the Cassowary is found in both regions, so the name need not be seen as being exclusively Papua New Guinean, which might see games also being played in Cairns. And besides, I just...
