Match Thread - Triple Header at Eden Park

And if the Aussies weren't coming to the UK in 2020, under the Oceania Cup rules Tonga would be relegated for Fiji. WTF?

Tonga would have competed and possibly beaten the Queensland team from that first game. The double standards is embarrassing.

    2017 RLWC FINAL - AUS 6-0 ENG @ Brisbane

I meant it is pathetic when you appoint an Australian ref to referee Australia when a Kiwi referee (who referees every week in the NRL) is available and on the World Cup referees panel. How difficult is it to appoint a neutral referee?

    2017 RLWC FINAL - AUS 6-0 ENG @ Brisbane

The last twice England has played Australia in Australia they have had an Aussie ref (2014 Sutton, 2017 Checcin) and haven't received a penalty in the second half of either. For some reason we have an Aussie ref yet again. Is not being 1/7 favourites and playing on home soil enough?

    2017 RLWC FINAL - AUS 6-0 ENG @ Brisbane

Ever wondered why Australia concede so few points? Hoping for a really good clean game.

    Womens World Cup

The plan is to run a 8 or 10 team tournament in 2021 so it should be much more professionally set up.

Happy? How can anyone be happy at 20k for a World Cup semi final with a 2 year lead in, right in the heart of RL country. It got over 26k in 2008 with Australia not even involved. Honestly, the game and media in Australia needs to take a long hard look at itself. It is getting more and more...

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I don't really care how many it is honestly but it will be very healthy, I am just saying what was reported on the BBC as I was watching on Sunday. I am not currently over where England are and neither are you. Credible source, evidence, prove it... it's a bit of excitement about a huge game...

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I don't have to prove it. Sometimes you come across as being deliberately obtuse. The question was asked if many England fans would be in Auckland and the BBC RL Correspondent said on Sunday that 6k were over for the latter stages of the World Cup. I have a couple of friends who are just going...

Sounds like you were at the game. Did you enjoy it? Do people in tour groups where a funny hat or something? My party of 12 were at the RLWC as independent travellers in 2008. Unfortunately you couldn't identify us as we weren't being led around with someone holding a stick with a flag on it.

It is what the RL Correspondent at the BBC said live to BBC viewers before the game against PNG last Sunday. He wouldn't know of course, travelling around with the England team. I'm sure you can provide us with alternate proof.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

There are more than 6,000 English fans on official tours from the UK all heading to Auckland for this week. Add NZ expats and a few from Aus then it should create a fantastic atmosphere.
