    Api pewhairangi

Well, Lolohea has already proven he's not a hopeless merkin when given a shot in first grade.

    Dane Nielson signs with Dragons

Yeah it's a done deal. Decent distributor, poor runner of the ball, average defender. Hopefully he suits your team better than he did ours.

Roster for 2015; Gains and Losses

Well spotted, thought I would have gleefully erased his name as soon as he left haha. I think the Sharks deal is done but not officially announced.

    Rewind

WARRIORS Gains: Leeson Ah Mau, Lewis Brown, Isaac John, Elijah Taylor, Bill Tupou Losses: Nathan Friend, Jacob Lillyman, Feleti Mateo, Jason Bukuya, Dane Nielsen, Chad Townsend, Dominique Peyroux ...we'd lose our best prop, hooker and number 6, plus some dead wood outside backs and out of...

    Bodene Thompson

I don't see Thompson as a sure thing for the top side. He's a fringe player when compared to Mannering, Hoffman and Henry. Will probably battle for a spot with Sione Lousi. Or he may end up propping. Probably wouldn't go much worse than Matagi, Rapira or even Matulino on last season's form.

    Prepare for some news

JWH is better than any forward we've had since Matulino lost his mojo two years ago. I really don't see Manu moving to the forwards. I can't picture his body taking the battering it'd get, and I do not think he could handle the defensive workload. Also I don't think Manu's powerful kick...

    Prepare for some news

Tomkins was an Elliot recruit... Perhaps McFadden, as a former half, actually sees Tomkins' value lying in the 6 jersey. Perhaps he wants a more powerful athlete at fullback, and prefers the playmaking roles in the halves.

    Allwood turfed from Raiders

A young guy at a wreck of a club, missing one training session due to having a few too many? Not really worried tbh

5 reasons why the Warriors have 'failed', NZ Herald

Biggest problem is, with the exception of a few games here and there, our forwards have been soft as marshmallows since 2011 when Packer, Matulino (pre shoulder charge ban), Rapira and Lillyman were all in top form. Since then, Packer lost all form due to injuries and went to jail... leaving us...

    Team v Raiders

Bukuya apparently not sleeping and it's f**king his training and subsequently his fitness. He's dropped to NSW Cup because he is now only capable of 40 minutes instead of the 80 he was earlier in the season... Sione Lousi has been great in NSW Cup and deserves his jersey if he gets it.

We will never win an NRL title until

While I don't attribute the loss to Manu, it's fair to say you could point to more than one blunder. For me it's the two times he showed Hiku the sideline and failed to lock him down which really jump out as Manu Moments.

We will never win an NRL title until

About 3 seasons where he was a first choice Kiwis centre, oh ye of poor recollection

We will never win an NRL title until

Manu was awesome when Ropati was at his peak. Manu looks defensively poor beside Nielsen, though his strike rate is great. Manu looks defensively solid beside Laumape, though his strike rate suffers. It's all about finding the right centre to pair him with. Manu isn't hardy enough for the...

    Team v Raiders

    1 Tomkins 2 Fusitua / Kata 3 Hurrell 4 Laumape 5 Vatuvei 6 Chownsend 7 Johnson / Lolohea 8 Lillyman 9 Friend 10 Matagi 11 Henry 12 Mannering 13 Ikahihifo 14 Leuluai (25-30 mins max) 15 Rapira 16 Matulino 17 Papalii / Sione Lousi
  17. hitman82

No Johnson and Leuluai as halves, no NRL title.

Chownsend is simply holding the 6 jersey until Lolohea is ready for first grade. Within the next couple of years our spine will be: 1 Tomkins 6 Lolohea 7 Johnson 9 Leuluai (subbing with Friend or Havili)

    Matai to warriors in 2015

The Matai rumour surfaced again today, along with a second *cream your pants* player. Foran is my guess.

    Team v Broncos

Pretty excited about seeing Agnatius Paasi debut (he's confirmed as Bukuya is still out) and Fusitua at FB if Tomkins doesn't improve fast. We're going to have a seriously stumpy edge if that happens haha... Kata and Hurrell will look hilarious together.
