Brisbane halfback Peter Wallace was in severe doubt to play Canberra on Sunday after suffering an accidental kick to the testicles in State of Origin. Blues medicos said he was in significant pain yesterday morning. The rest of the Broncos' Origin contingent are expected to play. Centre Joel Monaghan is in doubt for Canberra due to a hamstring injury, but he is expected to play. Brett Kelly has been ruled out with a hand injury. Ben Jones is likely to be the other player wiped from the seven-man bench chosen on Tuesday.
Winger Bronx Goodwin sent a scare through the camp yesterday after injuring an arm, which has been broken twice in the past, in a training-ground mishap. He was sent for x-rays but was cleared of any significant damage and is expected to play.

Definately out. Had nut surgery yesterday and won't be running again until next week at the earliest.

LOL, i feel so bad for Peter Wallace copping that injury... but i can't help but laugh at the wording.

Peter Wallace was in severe doubt to play Canberra on Sunday after suffering an accidental kick to the testicles in State of Origin

That game was a kick in the nuts for all the NSW team though.

Seriously, outside of Monaghon is that one of the worst backlines of all time (the one picked for Canberra). I think they might get up though ;)

For the Raiders:

Out - Plum
In - J.Carney.

Reshuffle sees Picker into the second row from lock, Tongue from 5/8 to lock and Campese from centre to 5/8, with Carney debuting in the centres.

Carney has been fantastic in the TC and is the best outside back we've had coming through in a long time. Already attracted plenty of interest from other clubs, which he knocked back to stay with us. Keep your eye on this bloke he's going places.
