Really love to see the Titans win this, but I don't know, I think I'll go with the Rabbits.
I want a home final at Skilled damn it.

Hard game to pick. The Titans are close to full strength and Souths have lost their Captain and best Forward. The Titans will bring a monster pack and we have a pack stacked full of back rowers. If they go forward against us, Prince and Campbell will cut us to ribbons. In saying that, the Gold Coast haven't exactly set the world on fire when playing outside of Skilled Park.

Based on that, I reckon this game will come down to whether the Coast turn up or not. Souths little pack will be dead keen to impress without Roy so I think they will be going hard but the Coast have the size to contain us if they have the right attitude about it. I'm also pissed about Rogers being out in the centres for the Coast. I reckon they are a stronger side with him out wide and both Presto and Zillman in the team together. Rogers has a habit of having good games against us as well.

This is my upset of the round, Souths to win this and keep their finals hopes alive. GC are good, but ordinary outside Queensland!

Would it be that much of an upset, though?

Titans have never beaten Souths in NSW, and we're in very good form.

I hope we can this one, if we stay focused we can.

I don't see it as an upset if the rabbits win.
They'e in form and at home. Yes asotasi is out, but they're not a one man team are they?

As I mentioned in another thread, I'd say Roy is around 5th-6th in terms of importance to our team. His form this year hasn't been anywhere near 2007, when he was probably our best player.

Hmm , we still need to win in Sydney

wins in

Melbourne
North Queensland
New Zealand
Central Coast

so far, only Sydney left, i wont mind if the only game in Sydney we win this year is the GF, but lets see how it pans out.

Tough game for us, ball control the key

I disagree. It is no coincidence that his form has been fantastic recently and we have been winning. I'd say sutton and merritt would be the only other 2 players in the side more important than him atm.

I definitely liek the look of the Titans with Campbell in the halves, Rogers in the centres, and Zillman at fullback. I never understood why the hell Cartwright insisted on Campbell at the back and Rogers at 5/8.

As for the game itself, I predict a 6-8 point win for the Titans. They should win by more, but they have proven time and again they are incapable of an 80 minute effort to properly put an opposition team to the sword. Souths did well last week to come back against a woeful Manly side, and while I'd like to see them in the finals, their form over the whole season in no way warrants it.
