in typical Raiders fashion, we came within a wisker of knocking over 2nd place, beat 1st place, and now we'll get beaten soundly by 14th

Yep.

Despite recent form, I'm less confident of a victory this week than I was against the Dragons.

I can handle losing, I can handle Dugan or Vidot or Croker having a game that returns them to Earth, but what will wind me up is if the senior players go to sleep again.

I would be happy if the Raiders play with the same kind of effort and passion they showed against the Dragons. If they lose it really at this point doesn't matter because the best we can say is that we are "building" for next year.

Didn't Monaghan miss last week? Is he a certainty to travel over?

P.S - Jarrod Croker needs to be nick-named "Kif" Croker after that green thing from Futurama.

Shillington will come straight in for TLL, and Monaghan is almost certain to play.

Picker or Thurling to drop from the bench. Short of a last minute mishap.

Raiders will get done. Vidot, Waddell, Croker and Dugan as usually will be amongst our best, old heads will fail to keep the intencity of last week. Nothing surer in the world then after a brilliant, grinding 80 minute game like that, the raiders lose to their next "worse" opponet. Had we been playing a big gun, we'd have probably won

Canberra
have lost a representative forward in Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (hamstring) but may gain another in David Shillington, who had a fitness test on a pectoral problem last night. Centre Joel Monaghan (knee) was also due to have a fitness test. Warriors coach Ivan Cleary is yet to decide on the final make-up of his squad.
