This game excites the hell out of me. It is one I can definately see a close win for either, or a comfortable win for either. In total guessing, Dogs by 2...and a half.

It would be disappointing if we can't get at least the same crowd that we got in 2007.

It should be a great game. I'm counting down the days.

It was lightly raining that night too.

I'm hoping for 30-35k, but I'm predicting about 27-28k.

South Sydney season ticket holders (which number 8,400 as of today) get free entry to the game.

6,400 Bulldogs members, 8,400 Souths members. There's 15,000 straight off the bat.

Easter Show, Dogs general fans, Rabbits general fans.

30k minimum :D

timmah, just a query - are you sure the bulldogs have 6400 TICKETED members and not just 6400 members as stated on the bulldogs website - on souths website we make it a point to clearly differentiate between members (14500) and ticketed members (8400).....i hope there's 30k but we were predicting 30k for souths v eels and only 20k came

BC, only 20K came because it was a Friday night game which was broadcast live into Sydney by Ch 9, which kept the numbers down at ANZ. We should get at least 28K (hopefully 30-35K) next Monday night against the dogs though.

nem, to err on the side of caution i would go for 28k what with people having work the next day they may just opt to watch it on foxtel and then
turn the lights out and go to sleep...i'll be there sans wife and 2 little kids

Yes, it is ticketed members. You're already better than most clubs, you don't have to further try and admonish other clubs efforts

if asking a simple question is admonishing then you can smoke it - thank you i feel so good that i am so much better than other clubs - your website says you have 6382 'members' - one would assume that this is ticketed + non ticketed, unless otherwise stated . DOUBLE

F**king rubbish, you're using it as bragging rights  as if you weren't trying to belittle our numbers....

And you would assume that, because you're a Souffs fan.

i'm not assuming anything that's why I asked in the first place - it's like me saying 'oh souths have 14,523 'members' so they will all turn up on monday'

Well I know the Bulldogs count is ticketed membership, if it wasn't I wouldn't have said so.
