1 Million to keep Johns!

My point is the NRL stepped in for Johns with ch 9, a guy at the end of his game(who I think still may never play again, well he hasn't for 2 years! fittness??)

Why didn't they step in for Tuqui who wanted to stay in League and or let clubs offer more money with outside sponsors!

I think Tuqui has a right to be dirty he's now on fu*k all! compaired to what the NRL helped find for Johns! and we could have had Matty Rodgers!

Maybe it was to personal a blow for union to get NRL's best player!

the difference is that johns is a superstar and a halfback......the other union converts, while excellent players..were/are dime a dozen wingers.......easily replaced.

I believe had Lockyer been pursued the same the nrl would have helped the same...

either way i still think nrl should have said..you want him? take him.....our game is stronger then that.....and throughout all of this union looks like a bunch of losers...how embarrassing for their code to chase a player towards the end of his years, injury prone of late.......
what message are they sending to their own code's aspiring players????

They think they are worrying the league when in fact they are making themselves look ridiculous....however the nrl chipping in to help and all the bullshite that went on about the 'pleeease dont go joey' in the media made the league look almost equally as ridiculous!
