*Luke MacDougall* has pleaded guilty to spearing The Moth, and has copped the MINIMUM of 10 weeks. How the f**k do you plead NOT Guilty to that???!!!
Of course he pleaded guilty...he did it. Where's the loading for priors. f**k you judiciary, helping the geniused teams whilst continually punishing success.

Theres your answer as to why the comp is even all you dickheads.

If it was Morley he would be packing for the UK.

You idiot melon. If the judiciary punished success, why were the Raiders punished so severely this year?

Also, the base penalty was 925 points or thereabouts... with loading it was up to 1400 BUT because of the early guilty plea, he received a 25% reduction... 25% of roughly 1400 is 350, leaving him with around 1050 points, or a 10 week suspension.

But don't let the truth ruin your argument.

WTF? Since when has Madpup been caught with drugs your thinking of his brother and McDougal had 1 bad prior offence.

Morley had nearly a dozen FFS.

Jesus 10 weeks is nearly half a season with some of the tackles we've seen in the same ball park they havent even had to face the judicary.

I thought that it was right on the mark.

Really hope your having a rib.

I think the sentence is about right.
Richardson from Souths was pretty spot on when he said it was a technique problem.
The tackle was bad and has been punished accordingly.
Madpup has been playing some good footy so I'd bet its the last thing he'd want to have done.

14 weeks was ridiculous...10 is just about right.

Besides...those are the rules - he wasn't referred straight to the judiciary - so he was entitled to plead Guilty- and did. So?

This - from a supporter of the ARCH loophole-finders of the NRL judiciary system?? ohhhh PLEASE!!!...Oh, DO get 'yer hand of it melon!!

Done by the Bunnies - and done HARD!...Chew on it.

While I agree with Melon that the system is crap and I believe they target players and make examples of decent footballers such as Morley, he failed to mention that the system is so bad that you can recieve 10 weeks for a tackle that perhaps went wrong, while an intentional eye gouge gets 6!

If it was Morley the Roosters would be pleading not guilty, and arguing what constitutes a spear tackle, and produce at least 53 prior offences by opposition teams that were dealt with differently, and telling all and sundry that Morleys not really a cheap shot merchant - he's just misunderstood, how can you prove intent anyway, he never meant to gou...decapita...spear tackle anyone..the refs have got it in for us...he's a victim of the salary cap.

10 Weeks is way, way too much. Much like 8 weeks for Woolford was the absolute definition of over-reaction by a judiciary.

I dont see why you Rooster skirts are complaining, if it was Finch or any of the golden cheque boys they would have gotten off with a 'grade one careless' despite it not even being a high tackle.

I thought Melon was complaining that the excessively lengthy ten weeks was the farce in question....now that i realise he is complaining of leniency i am less surprised!

Typical Rooster knob.

WHY NOT? DO you think it wasnt bad enough? Would you like to see a neck brace first?

Idiot.

If you read Melon's post carefully he is ridiculing the judicial system on how someone can get a discount for an early plea when there is no doubt they are guilty of the offence. Also how someone like Morley can get singled out for minor offences and get hammered with lengthy suspensions due to the prior offence loadings.
